MP plugin for Video Transcoding (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

Xface for me but I revert to Blue Two if something doesn't work.

2 questions

Q1 - It appears the new 0.9 RC3 version doesn't work with MP0.2.3 RC3 is this right (and latest SVN from arround 0.9 RC3 upload)? I can't get it to build the list of Videos in "My Videos" I'm using XFace but seems the same on Blue Two. Is this right or is it my problem?

If it doesn't work with 0.2.3 RC3 can I sugest incrementing the version number rather than using the RC3 as it will cause confussion and result in a lot of users giving up on it due to presumed compatability. (If it does work happily tell me to shut up)

That said I've loved and used this plugin ever since Fabrice first released it.

Q 2 - What is the best skin to drop into XFace?

Hi Greg,

you are right about the problem with last svn, the MP ui code little change and an error occurs. Can you send me you mediaportal.log and error.log to confirm that.

for the version number, you right also for next version i have changed the number and the name also ;-)

for you question 2, i don't know.

Nice plugin...but seems like it is a science to get the audio and video in sync after transcoding tvrecordings. Any tricks to deal with this problem?

Hi Fabrice,
For Some Odd reason the Last thing my MediaPortal.log file shows is the first restart after I upgraded to 2.3 RC3. So once I figure out why my logging is doing nothing even set at Debug I'll post the Logs.

AlphaLima: This release is not compatible with MediaPortal 0.2.3.0 RC3 unfortunately. Fabrice is working on it though.

No your right about Fabrice wanting the log files and I wasn't able to supply my logs as for some reason nothing is being written to them. So Thanks for comming forward AlphaLima.

In other news, PsychoReptile has added Media Transoder support to his phenomenal Replicant skin. I'll test it out this weekend.
