I have been looking into some of the issues associated with IPV6
Randomly I have run across issues but have yet to nail down anything.
I have a post in the MP2 Dev forums about such items. Still looking into it

Yeah, I don't know what it is about IPv6, but it seems to cause random delays in network communication. Might be related to .NET remoting.

What is good about IPV6 then? I turned it off too now, and MePo started up way faster.

As time goes on, more and more ISP's are moving to IPV6.
When done correctly it is very fast. But there does seem to be an issue having it enabled and not setting it up properly for DHCP or Static.
While there is what is known as Link-local (V6 version of V4's localhost), the randomness does not seem to always put the machines on the same subnet (at least what I have been seeing).

For the most part IPV4 is the way to go for an end user... for now...
