Stop updating windows 10 it's shite and the updates break more than they fix lol !

On a lighter note i think there are other thread already on this and the issue in those and looking at your logs appear to be issues with your codec setup, can you check what is setup for those or set them up if not ?

On the contrary - continue to update Windows and you would have seen that an update for the update was released yesterday:): KB4015438

I have this problem and removing the KB4015438 fixed it. But you mean that there's an updated KB4015438 that fixes the issue?

That sounds strange. Problems were introduced with the update that was rolled out March 14 and shortly after fixed with KB4015438 dated March 20.

I don't know which version of KB4015438 was installed, I do know that the one that was automatically installed today broke Media Portal, but it may be cached version from March 14... Until I have an idea how to fix that I will block Internet altogether on my HTPC. It took me quite a while to find out that the issue was this update.

There is only one KB4015438 and it repairs what was broken before. If this KB creates isues, it would be intersting to learn more. This sounds like a completely different problem.
