Got R.J. Decker in, by renaming the folder "R J Decker", there are points involved in the name. One should look at tvdb.com what the exact name is.

Still can't get Star city #449146 to show up, at all. Very confusing. No hits for either "star city" or "449146" in any files in the MP "log" folder.
Same issue with Stuart saves the universe, The Westies, Gangs of London and The Franchise.
Have tried to drill down a bit, by only having one video and the .tvdb file in the folder, but no success.
Using default String Replacement and Parsing expressions.

Got The Franchise in now, had only videos in sub-folders.
But, alas, the files still in the sub folders are not recognized.
Other videos with files in sub folders are found, can't find the pattern.

Hi, since Itfearme did the fantastic job to quickly update the plugin to accept new series all has worked well until now, and only for 1 series, Kill Jackie. When I add it, for some reason it appears as duplicate episodes in Harlan Cobens Final Twist. I checked in the TV Series configuration tool and Kill Jackie is not there but the 5 episodes of Season 1 of Final Twist were shown twice and the the last 3 episodes of Kill Jackie were just listed in Harlan Cobens Final Twist as Episode 6, 7 & 8. I removed kill Jackie and opened MP and ran the import and the duplicate episodes + the episodes 6 - 8 were gone. Closed MP and opened the configuration tool and checked they were gone there as well. Reinstalled Kill Jackie to my NAS, opened MP and ran the import and got the same result, duplicate episodes of Harlan Coben + Episodes 6 - 8. Any ideas on what may be causing this. I have attached some screen shots to show the issue and how the 2 series are set up on my NAS. Thanks in advance for your assistance

@mickb can you repeat your test i.e. delete kill jackie from the database, and with debug logging enabled run the import, if reproduced attached the logs immediately following shutdown of MediaPortal.

Also confirm your running the very latest plugin.

I followed your instructions and reproduced the problem with debug logging enabled.

For completeness, these are the steps I followed:

1. Updated the app.
2. Removed Kill Jackie from my NAS, restarted MediaPortal and ran the import to ensure it was removed from the database.
3. Closed MediaPortal and opened the TV Series Configuration tool to confirm that Kill Jackie was no longer in the database and that Harlan Coben's Final Twist was displaying correctly.
4. Enabled debug logging using MediaPortal Watchdog, which restarted MediaPortal.
5. Copied Kill Jackie back to my NAS, opened TV Series and ran the import.

The problem reappeared. The five episodes of Harlan Coben's Final Twist were duplicated, and the last three episodes of Kill Jackie appeared under Final Twist as episodes 6, 7 and 8.

I then closed MediaPortal and collected the logs using Watchdog. I've attached the resulting ZIP file.

I am unsure still why this is occurring but can I have some more info please:

From the command line / terminal, can you give me a file listing of your Z:\Video\TV Series\Drama directory e.g.

x:
cd Z:\Video\TV Series\Drama
dir /s /b > output.txt

Also please attach a screenshot of your Import Paths, String Replacements and Parsing Expressions from the configuration tool.
