    First results:
freezing (30-50 sec) with the patch V12
freezing also with disabled latestmediahandler (same amount of time)
NO freezing without tv plugin. But than of course the server is not waked by the client

Which logs are needed? What should I test now?

I did two runs with the debug mode.
    Started MePo in debug mode
    Sent it to standby
    waited until the server slept
    woke up the client
freezing until the remote worked was in both cases < 15 sec.
    This seems to be ok.
So it has to be one of the community plugins, am I right?
I did tests without latest media handler and without the power scheduler ++. This brought nothing new. Freezing > 30 sec in both cases ...

    I'm using:
    Fritz!Box Manager
    TV-Series
    Music Info handler
    MyLyrics
    OnlineVideos
    TVWishlist
    AudioRenderChanger
    CeCRemote
    FanArtHandler
    LatestMediaHandler
    PS++
    BackupSettings

@richardc1983: are you using some of theese?
If yes we should try to disable theese first to see if one of them causes the freezing

    The CeCRemote?
I will try without this plugin ...

    I also found this:

    Code:
    [2013-07-05 21:23:28,278] [Log	] [MPMain ] [INFO ] - FRITZ!Box Manager: FritzBox: Connecting
[2013-07-05 21:23:40,352] [Error ] [MPMain ] [ERROR] - FRITZ!Box Manager: FritzBox: Connecting failed: FRITZ!Box DNS name could not be resolved
12 sec delay when trying to connect the Fritz!Box before the network IF is ready.
@horned_reaper: Do I understand this right and is there a way to avoid this?

I don't think that the Fritz!Box plugin causes all delays. But perhaps there are some plugins which try to connect through the network and every plugin gave a little delay when the connection fails ???

    OnlineVideos
    CeCRemote
    PS++
    BackupSettings

I'm using all those plugins, EXCEPT the CeCRemote. I'm not able to reproduce this issue, so i would look @ that plugin first.
But, when i resume my HTPC from S3, it's also unresponsive for about 10 seconds, because of the LAN connection that needs to initiate.

Have you guys checked how long it takes for your LAN adapter to start up after resume, and if that's causing the unresponsiveness? Easiest to monitor to run MP in windowed mode before you put it / let it go to sleep.

Only way to be sure is to disable it (or better: remove the .dll from the folder entirely, because MP might still try to load it on startup) and test again ;)

    I think I got it.
It seems to be the CeCRemote plugin.
It causes a ca. 20 seconds freezing of the GUI after resuming.
Indicator for this is the watch that is displayed on basic home.
Without CeCRemote it takes ~ 2-3 sec. until the time is updated with CeCRemote it takes ~ 20 sec.
I have these 20 sec always. Sometimes it is more. I thing in these cases the network is not up an running when the Fritz!Box plugin begins to lock for the box and perhaps there are other plugins too with this behaviour
@Tuomaa: can you have a look at this? Is there a way to optimise the startup of the plugin after a resume?

    Now I don't know anymore ...
I wanted to do one last check and I brought me a > 1 minute freezing of the GUI after resume.

    A look into the log:
