I use MSSQL since 2 Years or so for MP.
Hmm... then it's something else blocking the UI thread.

... and when it wakes up MP should switch to Home Screen.
Need gibman or Sebastiii to comment on this, because i'm not sure if it's coded that way.
If it is, then indeed it's a bug.

For a cold start of MP, i can imagine this option is useful, but for resume?
The last active module before going into standby is the actual screen that MP is sitting on, right?
depend on "who use it before" !
Maybe your wife play music before, and you want watch TV,
and you want have allways Home screen at restarting.
for me user should decide itself.

and if i want to be more in the detail.
Resume on the last screen before an delay ( set in config ), if resume or start after this delay, return to home screen.

    Thanks HomeY :)

    Guys,
Ok now when resuming PC, if showLastActiveModule is OFF (unchecked) -> MP will be back to home.
About stopping playback when going to standby, the option already exist :

Stop playback on removal ..... option :)
When going to standby, audio renderer should be disconnected/removed and then playback stop.

I will provide an unofficial build for testing that :)

And maybe you can take a look why "wait x Seconds on Resume" not work (for some of us me included?) :)

I have this option checked all time and I think it does not stop video, just audio. Should be like this? In my case MP freezes during the waking up from sleep mode if the MP was playing media (video) before the sleep.

Can you provide log when it occurs ?
Yes, I will. Should it stop only audio or both audio&video?

Are you able to distinguish between who sent MP to the sleep mode? If so, than would be nice to have this setting in MP config tool:
    • MP sent to sleep mode by Power scheduler:
      • option A: to wake up MP to the home screen
      • option B: to wake up MP to the last screen before sleep
    • MP sent to sleep by remote control "Power TV" button:
      • option A: to wake up MP to the home screen
      • option B: to wake up MP to the last screen before sleep
Then user can set up any situaton he would like.
