Nope. I don't even get the scrapers (I used TMDB, TMDB_de and even kinopoisk_ru) to match the movies. If I do a scan it takes the infos from the nfo files (still the wrong structure, so no collection here ...). And if I use the lookup button in the editor I always get the following message: Movie details could not be found.

Only this will work for you.
I did not change, it does not support collections.
It gets information only in Russian.
Yes, such a structure as you have shown not support media portal and Kodi.
Very strange. :( Need debug log ... from Configurator or MP ...

There must be a reason why not find the desired information.

If I remove the nfo file before scanning (with TMDB), I get the movie details - but still no movie collections ...

It worked ... Before I updated the script by the one you added, I compared them and there were many differences (especially the collection info was missing). I think that I inadvertently updated the grabber scripts in the config ... Sorry for that.
I also tested with nfo by manually changing the structure: single tag adds a movie collection, multi set tag adds an user group.

In short: it just works ... (y)

Edit: Only thing missing is the user group image - it was not added with relative or absolute path in setimage-tag ...
