Cosmetic issue: when you start TV, MP adds to graph mpeg2 and also mpeg4 decoder (I asume that is the way to be fast when switching from sd to hd channel)... Issue: dshowhelper doesn't detect which is the actual decoder used, and always shows in stats first decoder used when you start viewing TV. Last regular v54e is doing it well.

Thanks for the logs - v0086 attached which should fix the filter info update issue :)

I tried 0086 and seems that I have not black screen problem anymore, but I have more stutter with v0086 than 055 so for me the best one is v55e..

Owlsroost, Have you never tried 0086 with subtitle on live tv? I have a stutter problem after some minutes..

if you need I will collect a log.

    thx for your work

I never use subtitles (don't even know how to enable them in MP) so yes, logs would be good :)

There's only a few lines of code in EVR presenter that have anything to do with subtitles - I'll compare with v0055e.

Are you saying that you have a stutter problem with subtitles enabled, like cecet23 ? or you get more stutter generally with v0086 ?

cecet23 - can you try the attached v0087 dshowhelper please ? (I've reverted the subtitle timing back to how it was in v0055f)

EDIT: One user has reported crashes with v0087, so suggest using v0088 instead - https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/772271-post1228.html

    I will try v0087 asap..

    Thx

CypherMK and cecet23 - questions about the stuttering :

Is it just occasional dropped or repeated frames ?

Is it bursts of stuttering ?

Do the 'Drop:' or 'Rp:' numbers on the render stats increase when it stutters ?

Does it happen on everything, or just some types of movie files/TV ?

(and a screen capture of the render stats when it stutters would be really useful good :))

    Thanks,

    Tony
