    In summary: you need to use "Arial Unicode MS" with font file "ARIALUNI.TTF". You have to replace ttf names inside
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Client\Plugins\BlueVision\Skin\BlueVision\fonts\Default.desc
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Client\Plugins\BlueVision\Skin\BlueVision\fonts\DefaultBold.desc

    Thank you! I can confirm above workaround works.

    I do think this should work out of the box though, at least with the bundled skins (Bluevision was bundled and set as default after install, without configuration on my end), for the user experience. Not everybody will feel confident about editing config files with a text editor. Maybe this can be considered. Other software like Plex and Kodi support this out of the box.

    @ge2301 do you know other fonts (from design perspective) that look good and contain all Unicode characters?

    ArialUni gives an impression of being "bolder".

    Could we theoretically offer a switch to change display fonts, i.e. our current standard and a second one capable of displaying Asian languages? This would then only affect a very small number of users and we would avoid lengthy discussions about cosmetics.
