Ah, however, the discussions (and work)in the mentioned thread appear to have stalled.

I am unsure why that code never made it into future MP2 releases but I it works fine for me. If the code isn't up to standard then I am sure a MediaPortal developer could modify it but I don't really have much time to do anymore.

The Input Device Manager has been completely reworked and is now capable of consuming HID input. In other words, every HID device will now work in MP2. :)

Different input devices can now be individually configured to map MP2 commands and screens function (e.g. Movies or TV) to a key (combination) on the device.

This will be rolled out with MP 2.2.1

Fixed, I think. Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this. Last time when I installed the...

Attached are new TV service logs with your latest DLL. I see lots of EPG events and none of the messages from earlier. Congratulations!

4.5 is really old. I'm not sure 4.5.5 even is a version that actually existed. You should be able to install .NET Framework 4.8.0 on Windows 7 SP1
