Most people do it by connecting the TV via HDMI with the PC. The TV acts then as it would be an PC-display.I guess my basic question is how do you connect a regular TV (Samsung HD TV) to a client/server pc installation?
In MP2 there is no need for an extra config tool/app, every setting can be accessed in the client GUI. Just enter the settings menu in the MP2 client and you can add shares, change skins, setup codecs, etc.MP1 has client configuration settings but I did not see it in MP2.
I'm sure, that this adapter can technically not exist. Is it possible to directly connect a client TV to the MP2 server using an Ethernet to HDMI adapter?
I don't use MP2, but I think it is the case that each client TV has to connect to its own Windows PC via HDMI, and then each client Windows PC connects to another Windows PC that is acting as the TV Server. So you need one Windows PC for each TV. I don't think that an XBOX can be used to replace a Windows PC.I am wondering how to connect 2 client TVs to an MP2 client/server PC?
