Mhm one feature that would be really cool is if the server could act as Upnp Server for other upnp compatibel devices. It would be really cool to have a little upnp radio maybe in the bath or the kitchen which could play the full music library or the provided radiostreams. that really would nail down the mediaserver thing.

MP-II client and server will communicate via proprietary UPnP services and thus the MP-II server is NOT UPnP AV compatible at the first version.
But we plan to add a UPnP AV compatible media server service in the MP-II server application later. Technical, with our UPnP foundation it is no big thing to upgrade the MP-II server to be compatible with UPnP AV.

Sounds good. It would be nice if someone of you wrote a news article about the planning and features, possibilities and limitations of MP2 and posted it on the home-page. It sounds very good so far, but i feel there's a lack of official news.

Are you going to open a suggestion board for when you move your focus from 1.1.0 to 2.0?

What I would really love is the ability to move whatever I am playing back on my TV over to a tablet from a menu inside MP. Something like this:

    - I'm watching a football game on my main TV (HTPC1)
    - I decide that I want to make a snack.
    - I open the "right-click menu"
    - I click "change playback device"
    - I then get a new menu where I can choose what playback device I want to move the stream to
    - I choose "tablet 1"
    - Then I get a menu where I can choose if I want to play it on both devices or just the new one.
    - If I choose just the new one a menu pops up on the first one where I can choose from the following:
    - "Turn HTPC1" off (or sleep).
    - "I'll be back" (Or something like that)
    - If you choose "I'll be back" a new box will pop up with the button "I am back", when you press this the stream returns to HTPC1.
    - I choose "Only tablet1"
    - I choose "I'll be back"
    - At this time MP-client sends a message to MP-server telling it to start "Tablet1" and stream the TV-channel to that device. It keeps playing the channel on "HTPC1" untill "Tablet1" is showing the video and audio.
    - I then go off to the kitchen with my tablet to make the snack.
    - When I come back I simply press the "I am back" button and it switches the stream back to "HTPC1"

The next step would be to integrate support for voice and motion controll :p

    Imagine just having to either:

    - Say "move media to tablet one"
    - Getting a small popupbox asking "move media to tablet one?"
    - Say "yes"
    - And this happens.
    - With "copy media to tablet one" you'll get playback on both devices.

Or draw a circle and then choose a device from that circle with another motion.

This can also be usefull in a "party setup" where you can choose to play music or other media on whatever UPNP-devices you have around the house.
