Please try the attached TsWriter and do a new channel scan. I changed the UTF-16 to ASCII parsing, but I have my doubts if this is correctly.

What I also wonder about: does any of your channels inside MP1 have a real name? Not only the constructed "unknown freq-serviceID" pseudo names?

Yes, some of the channels show up correctly named, although not many for instance WTOL and WGTE seems like it's the major public network channels that seems to show up correctly not sure why they are different. I'll try the new TsWriter when I get home from work tonight.

I just tried the new TsWriter and it was actually worse. I still didn't have any names and the same problem as before with the all cards busy is back because no check on FTA.

I was afraid of this, my "fix" was thought into wrong direction.

    hi.

attached some debug dll's for u to try out. just copy the pdb files as well, this gives us valuable line number info in logs.

please keep the channel tagged as non-FTA - I know this is a scanning bug.

the fix here tries to avoid creating the analogue graph, which is what u are seeing when u try to tune that "scrambled" channel.
it does this in order to establish wether or not the card has CA capabilities.
although this doesn't make sense for analogue cards, so Ive disabled this, hoping it will go away for good in ur case.

    please provide logs again.

I just replaced files with the debug files and now MP2 server won't start. I did revert the TsWriter to the one from post #6 not sure if that matters. Here are the logs.

I just removed and reinstalled the Original MP2 Native TV winter release and replaced the files with the debug files, and still get the message from post #17 and MP2 server won't start so I can't even configure or run tv setup.

I will post my few changes to @morpheus_xx 2nite, then he can make sure the DLLs are built correctly and that they in fact work :)
