Just to let everyone know that MPBlue 0.0.4 works fine with Mediaportal 0.2..

I am getting the occasional Nullreference exeption now, so this should be easy to fix..

expect a new release fixing nowplaying and nullreference exeption..

quick question - where in the registry does mpblue store the server name? i entered something with a space at the end by accident, and it seems like it's causing mpblue to crash at startup...

there is a xml file settings.xml..
apparently it is saved in the wrong location :?
I have to correct this.. currently it is in the root of "My device"
this should obviously be in the root of the application...

Haven't had any issue with server location. MPBlue is running fine for me on the CVS you specified, haven't tried it on the new release (didn't know we had the new release, thanks for the update) but I will play with it thoroughly. Looking forward to the now playing fix, I did confirm that they are using the same naming, I assume you've figured out the error.

well, I initially thought is was acoomunications issue, but it turns out to be an error in the new skin engine...
it doesn't remember the text I set when reading the configuration

Sounds simple enough to my layman's ears (hope it is), looking forward to the fix.

Anything from the databsae I sent? I'll try tonight with the new MP release, see if that fixes up the unknown lock. Should I change one of the databse checkboxes I listed in my post before creating the new music database (My first guess is the treat unknown albums in folder as albums)

it probably is, for a die hard programmer, I've been staring at it for 2 hours... and it still doesn't work..

mind you, it is about a million degrees here, the heat could be affecting my brain..

I find fluids with a relatively low specific gravity tend to assist such quagmires.
