Re: AW: MPClearArtLoader -> automatically download clearart

    Hello,

V0.2 doesn't work for me under Windows 7 64 bit.
I tried it on 2 computers, application (MPClearArtLoader) crashes when starting processing the database.

Hi, which version of MediaPortal are you using? And what does the exception say when the tool crashes?
    Hello,

Just checked with a third computer (also with WIN 7 64bit) and it doesn't work either.
There are no exception, just a generic Windows message that says that application crashed and has to be closed.

I'm using MediaPortal 1.1.2 with latest version of StreamedMP, V0.1 still works like a charm so this is not that big of a deal for now :)

Alright, so I ran the .exe from the file and it downloaded some clearart which I then chose what I wanted. But when I start StreamedMP and go to the tv series, start it and then hit pause. I am not seeing the clearart that I chose. I am seeing what seems to be the image of the actual episode that I am watching.

Do I need to put the other 2 files that was in the .rar somewhere? Or am I missing a setting in StreamedMP to get it to work?

    Thanks!!!!

Well I figured it out. I went to the clearart folder and for whatever reason when it downloaded the art it added the name of the series to the filename. For instance: 70594_Band_of_Brothers_1.png

I deleted everything but the 70594 on all the series and now it works. Is a step we have to do each time we run it? Or is there a way it can save just the series id?

    Thanks again!!!!

rhmclay, there is a filename field in the configuration of the exe. It defaults to '%s_%n_%i.png', change it to '%s.png' and just pick 1st item.

When we build in support in plugin we can handle multiple clearart.

Diebagger, do you think you can create a config file where it can remember the settings you have chosen?

Wouldn't it be cool to add this to the EPG?
So for example when webepg downloads the data and sees a serie it will automatically download clearart? :)

For everyone with crashes, can you try the attached version, I added a global try-catch to at least output the exception... ;)

@ltfarme: this version can also store the settings.
