BUT. For the first there will be only English and German language. After release of the next version it would be fine, if someone can send us other languages as well.

Hi all - completely new to this plugin just stumbled onto it as a solution to use with the ipad/displaylink. I installed the latest version 0.6.03 initially on media portal to 1.1.3 and when I try to configure the plugin in MP Plugins I get the attached unhandled exception error.

There are two versions of the plugin. One goes with MP 1.2, and the other with MP 1.1. That might be the problem.

Nice plugin
But i only get black screen on my mimo 720s displaylink 800x480.
when MediaPortal start so you can see the plugin loading. but when it is finished it will just be black on the secondscreen. have tested different teams

Hi,

with the last version of mpdisplay i can´t open the config for change settings in MPConfig.
I´m getting following errormessage:


I updated MP1.1.1 to MP1.1.3 and using Fortherecord 1.6.0.0 with uninstalled MPtvserver. Running Win7 64-Bit with latest SP1.

If uninstalling mpdisplay and installing older versions i always get the same errormesssage. Mpdisplay itself is displayed in Mediaportal but still with the wrong resolution (problem has been already before).
Is something wrong with my .NETframework? What can i try? I really need this plugin so much...

Does someone has MPdisplay running without issues together with ForTheRecord?

Hi Katharsis,

the only thing you can dofor now, is to edit the config file with an editor. As far as I can remember it’s located in the ProgramData folder and under TeamMediaPortal\MediaPortal\MPDisplay2. Just edit the resolution directly in this file.

EDIT: I think I know where this is coming from. If I have still the old sourcecode, I can send you a working version. Can tell you this evening - still at work now.

There will be a new version soon, I hope. But I don’t know yet, if we can hold the release date as thought… Also I don't know If there will be any issues with 4TR. Sa_ddam and I don't use this Plugin. If it doesn't work, we will try to find a way to implement this.

thanks for your offer, to solve the probable caused issues due to ForTheRecord! That gives me hope to get this great plugin running someday.

I edited again the .xml to my mimo usb resolution 800x480 but nothing changed. It is still the problem i have described posts before https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...diaportal-secondary-display-92354/index9.html

But this is a secondary problem i think. First of all, the cause of the big errormessage, when trying to configure mpdisplay, should be found out. If you need any .log-files or something let me know (plz tell me the exact folders).

Nope. I don't need the log- files.
I'm not that good to erase any issues. I just can do a bit copy&paste.

Second thing, that I don't need the logs is, that the next version is completely different as told before. That's why it takes so long until the next release. (Splitting the Plugin into an App and an API for MP).
