That's right, not yet, but you can install another skin for this moment for MPdisplay2.. It is no problem that you use for the plugin another skin than for Mediaportal..

But I have to say; I'm not using this plugin anymore because I had some major stabilty problems, and It didn't work for me in combination with a couple of other plugins.. I hope a next version will be released soon! But maybe you have not those problems..

Not yet... Sorry for those bad news, but I'm also waiting for news on this. It seems, that it's not so easy to make this Plugin work for all MP Versions in it's new "code design".

Hi guys,

I was thinking of an alternative to the tv screen or remote control app (vnc, rdp, ...) to be able to listen to music in the first place.
Since I don't have an android or ios device and I find it still to expensive just for controlling MP, I was looking for some other way to have feedback.
Because I'm planning to modify the tv cabinet I thought about building in an old 15" LCD screen which is currently eating dust.

Today, I gave this plugin a try and I'm quite happy with it - after some tweaks.
At first, the cpu usage jumped from a 7-9% during the playback of music to over 50% - with the light skin - by running mpdisplay2.
This was not acceptable for me but after modifying the light skin by making text static instead of scrolling and removing the equalizer, things got much better.

I still have a few issues though.
1) the screensaver doesn't work, whatever I do. This is my MPDisplay2.xml file:

In the configuration of the plugin, you can enter a number which is a percentage of... what? Afterwards I entered this number in the xml file and had to change the 'UseScreenSaver' value but still no luck.
Does the MP screen saver setting play any role in this behavior or what might be wrong?
The main display is configured to blank the screen after 45"

2) The 2nd screen is a 4/3 display which is configured at 1024x768. As you can see, I have specified that resolution in the utility as well but still some images are not showed with the correct ratio.

3) Is it possible to get the shutdown, restart, sleep, hibernate actions window and get some way of tv guide to be able to control recordings?

Hi Christix,

the plugin is still under development...
But there are very much changes and much work to do for a functional plugin. Also it's holiday time and I'm writing this from Belgium and not from home...
It will take more time as mentioned, but there is a progress on it.

Oh, that's sad. I justed figured out that this plugin works with my ipad and now there is no version compatible to 1.2.0 RC. I feel like I want to cry...

Does anybody have it run under RC? Under Beta it run for me well but nothing under RC.
Maybe my mistake but can't solve it.

Hi synack, I had it running under 1.2 beta, did an update to 1.2 RC and it still works over here.
