MPDisplay++ - Extended Display/Touchscreen Plugin (1 Viewer)

Thanks for the quick reply.

I uninstalled the plugin (had Full installed). Chose for "server/plugin only" this time. But now I get 2 shotcuts which aren't linked to an .exe file.
MPdisplay++ folder (on harddisk) does not contain the config/setup program or the plugin itself. It seems only the server is installed.

Installed the Full version again and uncheck "is local" which resulted in a same kind of error I get when starting the plugin.

Hello,

I test this plugin and I have found my first serious bug : it make completely crash MP at resume. I join my logs. I wait before post them to make more tests but without this plugin I never had any crash, I allow it again and crash reappear at every computer resume. (FYI I don't used the touch screen after resume, only remote)

I, no answer but for information I found the solution, PC now sleep and resume with MPdisplay++ and without crash.

May be the point is, that you have installed Win XP on the Laptop. Was just a try with the checked Box. But here we seem to have the Problem that it doesn't work with Win XP.

Yep, the reinit tv card option in the PowerScheduler++ plugin make crash imon.exe (soundgraph remote driver of my zalman hd160 xt plus). "Imon.exe" send strange key codes just before endding. It seem that MPDisplay++ don't like this (or send the error to MP ?).

The solution I used is to deactivate usb sleeping on the WinTV-NOVA-T500 and don't use the reinit tv card option. I already made about 10 sleep/resume without error, I wait a little more before report the problem in the PowerScheduler++ thread.

I found a way to stop this happining and will add to next release, It seems MPDisplay received some strange properties that it could not format correctly.

First thanks for this great Plug-In - the new Version looks really Great!
Now my problem. I installed MediaPortal on D: - MPDisplay++ don't ask where to install. The installation path is C: - so I can see the nice Home Screen but nothing works.

I was using MPD2 and now I installed this plugin but had a problem: if I saved the configuration, I got a .Net error msg stating that it could not write to ProgramData\MPDisplay++\GUISettings.xml file -> access to the path denied.
The user was member of the administrators group and had full control to those files/folders but I had to give that user full control manually so I could save the configuration.

Now it's working but I have a few questions:
1) is it by design that the exe file should be started manually?
2) are there any plans to add the tv guide?
3) i'm using the https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...-box-manager-english-forum-103177/#post817050 Would it be possible to get the call notification window showing in MPDisplay++? A msg box opens but it's not showing any information.

Hi and thx for the great plugin. I have a little problem, it´s working perfect for me, but when i repdroduce a film, the information of FPS and Resolution give me information "Not available". What am i doing wrong?

1. No. Set MediaPortal to start as Administrator. Maybe you have to do this also with the server Application and the GUI.exe of MPD++.
2. Yes. It's within our Bugtracker on our Site...
3. I can give it a try, but I don't have a FritzBox (Is it ok when I send you modificated Files for testing?)

If you are watching the Movie without Moving Pictures it's normal. We have no possibility (by now) to show these Informations
within other Plugins or the BuiltIn Video Player.

Hi Peter2,

try this one please... Just a test... As I said. I have no FritzBox, so I can't test.
These are the Skinfiles for default or default_dark Skin. If you need another Skin no Problem. Just test this one before I will add it to all Skins. Thx.
