MPDisplay++ - Extended Display/Touchscreen Plugin (1 Viewer)

Hello everybody!
I just discovered that I get a strange error. When MPdisplay++ is installed. I can't play DVD images thrue deamontools & Mediaportal. When i try the processes Mediaportal
and MPdisplay++ closes. I get just the normal desktop left, and no plugin on second display. With the earlier versions it have worked perfect. Somone else have experiance of this or am I alone???

And thankyou for your grate job with this "must have" plugin

Have I understood this right! Is there a reproducable error with DVD images playback? Or should I reinstall windows and MP?

Hi christix,

This is a bug with MPDisplay, it also happens in other situations I cannot reproduce but from the logs I can see what it is and will fix for next release.

No need to re-install anything

maybe you overlooked my posting - I installed MediaPortal on D: and not on C:. MPDisplay++ installation is on C: so nothing works. Are there plans to ask for MediaPortal installation directory?

Hey Tini,

Have you tried to manually install MPDisplay++ (move the files to the correct directorys on D
there is nothing hardcoded to C: so I see no reason why a manual install wont work, I just overlooked the installer a bit

Do you still use C: for ProgramData?

try this one please... Just a test... As I said. I have no FritzBox, so I can't test.
These are the Skinfiles for default or default_dark Skin. If you need another Skin no Problem. Just test this one before I will add it to all Skins. Thx.

Also discovered a problem/incompatibility with MPD++ installed/activated.
I also have AtmoWin Plugin running in my system. Without MPD++ all runs very stable.
But with MPD++ activated sometimes (5-10 days) ill get black screen in TV, sound is running.
To solve the problem i must restart MP.
There are some exceptions in the error log of MP and no errors in MPD++ logs.
If ill deactivate MPD++ all runs fine again.

See the attached MP Logs.

Now i have deactivated MPD++ temporary

There is no error caused by MPDisplay in the logs provided, only a COM exception by AtomWin.

You are right. It runs over a week without a problem but now the problem ocurrs again :-( (without MPD++)

First I would like to congratulate you guys on this new version, it works much better than 0.6. Performance is top, also with scrolling text, which was very slow before and ramped my cpu to 100%. Also the skins are very nice, I like the crisp look and the smaller fonts. Nice work guys!

Until now I have discovered only one issue, which is that the progress meter is not very accurate when watching TV. It seems it's not updating very often, only when I switch channels.

Hi Tini,

Could you please post all logs, The plugin is not connecting to the server, Is the plugin enabled? are the correct files in the process plugin directory?
MPDisplayAPI.dll
MPDisplayUtils.dll
MPDPlugin.dll
