Migue, just out of curiosity are all these changes backwards compatible? Can I still make an installer that will work with MediaPortal 1.1.x?

No, you can't, due to MPEMaker enforcing a minimum version on the MediaPortal dependency that is higher than 1.1.x.

However you can work around it. After saving your .xmp2 with MPEMaker, just open the .xmp2 with text editor and either change the version numbers for the MP dependency, remove it altogether, or change the warnonly tag to yes.

I have added Docs to Wiki - MPE Tools with Version Check (including above tip :p) under both Plugin and Skin related changes with links on the Plugins Installer and Skins Installer wiki pages.

I added Bleazle's guide to the Skins Installer page as well, although it could probably use a few more tips. The Plugins Installer pages definitely need more work imo, and a similar guide.

Are any of our plugin developer's willing to help out? Damien, as you have recently done your first MPEInstaller, maybe some issues are fresh in your mind that could be added to the Plugins Installer Wiki page? ;)

Some other bugs/enhancements while creating an installer for TVSeries:

Unchecking Main Feature, does not automatically uncheck sub-features:

The icon header in the FileCopy status dialog does not have the same alignment as other dialogs:
    Status.jpg

I think it would be nice to also give an indication of size that is allowed, I tried to put a banner up there but was all squashed so I had to give up on that idea.

Another suggestion is that when you create script, the status screen just indicates that it has been executed but if you have multiple scripts then you can't tell what its doing. I suggest a name/description field for script actions so that can be logged in window.

Is it possible to delete unneeded files from previous plugins/skins versions without replacing them by new ones?
