Ok i understand Is it possible to have these status updates on a slower frequency when you leave the plugin? I like the realtime update when i'm in the plugin but for the download completed notication it could check every 30 seconds (or user definable) or something. Or don't check at all if download notification is disabled

I've set it up to turn off the timer if notifications are off and your not in the plug-in. I'm not sure about changing the update speed but I will think about it. Also I would appreciate any other comments you have about my code. If you see room for improvement or liked something about it. Thanks.

Is there any information regarding "MyTVSeries missing episode searching"
For the life of me i cant make it find a darn thing.
Also it seems like the search is coming back with far fewer items then are really out there. I am mildy confused on how it is working.

Ya I kinda need more documentation. First you turn it on in the configuration area. Then when your in the plug-in, go to Search, pick a site and then there will be a Missing Episodes option. For this to work you have to check "Download Episode information for the whole series" I think in MyTVSeries (Could be wrong). Either way in the next few days I will add documentation with screenshots and stuff in my Wiki.

I mean i figured all of that out. I guess i just was expecting more results from it. Is it actually searching for "Title S1xE1" the tv series seems to list them that way, but thats not really how most of usenet works.
Most of the time it is "Title E01S01"

I've had good luck with the results, especially with Newzbin. If you have an idea of different ways to format the data I would be glad to hear them. I could perhaps make a setting in the configuration to format the search string different ways.

unfortunately i don't have newzbin
But like i was saying if i search newzleech with the missing episode it wont find anything becuase i think it is searching like this Title 1x01 where if i go to a search and newzleech and type in title s01 e01 it finds it just fine.
basically i think the x in between the season and the episode is throwing it off.

BTW great work on this plugin. I am new to media portal and plugins like this are what converted me

Side note here, i have gotten the search to crash for me a few times. Basically freezing MP. Anything i can do to help you track this down?

Maybe its not crashing but extended period of time where you cant do anything.

Hmm well perhaps the sites just responding slow. Is it always the same site? What is the search term used? Do the logs say anything starting with [mpNZB]? I could maybe put the searching on a different thread that can be canceled if the user feels like its taking to long.
