Just delete all files in C:\ProgramData\MPstandbyHandler. Thats it.
The uninstall command file only removes the MPSH windows service.

Hello,
the following problem has that the process TVService with suspend is suspend not terminated. Over the task manager I can terminate the process. Over the DOS command line with the instruction TSKILL however not. Get then the error message " Failed, access verweigert"
With the ToolPSKill I can likewise terminate that

I've read the thread but Im not sure if I need it.

I have problems after being away/idle for a while. After that it looks like everything works in MP, you can navigate through everything, but if I start a tv channel in the EPG, MP freezes. Restarting my pc is the only solution.
Does this plugin solve this?

If our PC suspends or hibernates during your are away, this tool can help. If your PC is only idle but on, this plugin wont help.

Hi to all,
I have a problem when I click on MPstandbyHandlerGui.exe.. nothing appears, but the process is in the task manager.. How can I solve this problem? I'm using windows xp sp3. Thanks to all.

I have solved, I have deleted all jobs in all users\application data, but now I can't add Hardwaredevicerestart, the gui hangs when I click on add.. Thanks in advanced.. e sorry for my bad english..

My system configuration:

Front-End: Mediaportal
Mainboard: Asrock Alivexfire esata2 r3.0
CPU: Amd 64 x2 5400+
Video: Gigabyte Ati HD4550
Tuner TV: Skystar dvb-s
OS: windows xp sp3.
Ram: 2gb

I assume that the Gui worked before, because the log files say that there are jobs defined.
But i can't see any error message, which could be the reason that the gui does not appear as a window on the desktop.
Never ever heard about such a behaviour before.
Try to completely remove all config and job files and try it again.
