Yesterday my HTPC causes some errors, so I had to make an old image to the HDD. Just for Fun i tested the MPTouch- Plugin and now it works... The Display is working correctly but i still haven't installed the driver for Touch functionality - will do this later today. The other thing i haven't done till now, is to disable the Minidisplay Plugin for my IMon.

Good to hear everything is up and running, I tried to replicate the problem but had no luck and your logs were clean.
The Mini-Display plugin would probably conflict with MPTouch.

I am pretty keen to put a small development team together for MPTouch. Mainly I'm looking for someone keen to do the Documentation side for the new version (Skin documentation, Plugin Documentation) as most of you users that have been using MPTouch since the beginning will know I'm not the most literate person when it comes to the human language.

I would be also like to find someone keen to develop the default skin for MPTouch, At the moment I spend more time in PhotoShop than Visual studio which is slowing down development significantly.

Also would like to find another programmer to help with development testing and code cleaning (technick, Jblomb )

Anyone keen to help in any of these ways please let me know.

Just a short reply to this...

Now i set up everything like before when it doesn't worked.
Everything is fine now. Works like a charm, besides some stutters in Videos. But this might be due to the different Refresh rates of the two displays.

It would be a pleasure to help with the documentation, but as you can see, my englisch is not that good for helping on this side. If you are searching someone for translation into german (may be later), I would be very pleased to do this.

EDIT: The stutters in Videos came from the refresh rates. Now I set the automatic changer to 24Hz and 50Hz (depending on framerate of the file) and changed the dshowhelper.dll to owlsroost v19. Now everything is perfect!

Will be happy to assist. Mainly I will be able to help with documentation but will also be happy to help testing. Finally I am fairly good in html, so I should be able to try to do a little layout in xml, but coming up with design ideas are definitely not my strong side, so if anybody will have a shot a a drawing I will be happy to try to code from that.

Thanks for all the great work you are doing on MPTouch. I think it is a really important plugin and a big asset to MediaPortal.

I just wanted to let you know our new wiki should be available in a few days if you wish to use it to document MP Touch. (It is about 10x easier than the old wiki).

Once you release the final version I hope you will add it to our new Downloads Repository so it is more visible to all users. We can even write a Blog post to highlight it when you are ready.

technick - please add your good suggestions to the Website forum so we can make improvements.

I've been trying to get this working for a couple of days with no joy.

I don't understand why but the plugin isn't showing up in the MP Config. :-/

Anyone else had the same issue and a way to fix it?


I'm using a lilliput 10.1 inch touchscreen lcd monitor as my secondary display. :-/

Also, sa_ddam213, I sent a PM to you about the skin.

for the downloadable Plugin I made some changes on the Skin. I reworked some pictures to fit better with the Skin X-Factor.
