I'm also getting a 'crash' message (MediaPortal has stopped working) when i exit MediaPortal
Yaeh this also will be done by weekend,
Had to change the way the plugin starts and stops to time for allow other plugins to access main thread while loading.
So still some dispose problems on close.
Has the New version fixed Plugin errors and webstream errors?
No and Yes.
Things i noticed fixed:
- Radio show the OSD now, and the mediacontrols can now stop the playing
- Controls can also stop a live TV feed from playing
- Exit error (not sure). The first time i exited MP, i got the errorbox. Then i tried exiting again for about 5/6 times and then no more errors popped up, so not sure if it's gone are that i'm just lucky
- 'Now playing' for Radio
Not fixed:
- Plugin errors (and also very stuttering playback of Live TV when i open up the INFO menu with the current channel info)
- Weather location is wrong (showing NZ, although it would be nice to be there now)
- No radiologo in 'Now Playing' but there IS a radio logo (behind the navigation controls) in the list when you enter MyRadio.
I'm sure that when this plugin is finished it's gonna be a real nice 1 so keep up the good work (and i'll try to keep you working with bugreports)

I've got another question though, which is not completely related to the plugin.
I've got an OrigenAE S16T case with a 7" touchscreen set @ 1280x720. My TV is set to 1920x1080. My HTPC is hooked to my receiver, which sends the signal to my TV (all HDMI). Normally using remote control for everything, but (for example) when listening to radio, i always turn my TV OFF. That's when i wanna go use the touchscreen, but every time when i turn off my TV, the position of the touchscreen gets moved about 1 to 2 cm and then my navigation controls are totally off.
Is anybody experiencing the same problem or does anyone have a solution for that because it kinda makes the touchscreen useless (like i thought for the last 2 years, UNTILL this plugin got alive!)
Don't wanna hijack the thread, but since it's touchscreen related i thought i could ask in here since everyone in here prolly has a touchscreen setup also

I've been trying each new release of this plugin, I have had several crashes when using it but at the moment this seems the most stable. However, when playing video files, only the menu buttons at the top now go black and I get no information, the same for TV, I can't see any of the other pages either like the media controls or drive information etc...
Hmm.. you got a receiver between you HTPC & your TV? I think it might be related to that (handshake issues or something like that) even with an EDID override...
I've got my desktop on 1920x1080, extended to touch @ 1280x720.

And i've been trying to get in touch with Origen Support for WEEKS now, they just don't seem to reply... They build amazing cases, but the support really #($R)#@(*$@.....

That works great! This is a very promissing work and I'm confident it will find support here arround to help.
About that, if the plugin support localization, I'm OK to make the French translation.

I found a small issue, when you click Record now button, MP loses focus and not controllable by RC anymore.

finally I had the chance to test the new version ( it's hard to test while moving to a new flat )
No more big issues in the newest version for me (XP SP3 with RC2)! Realy excellent work!
Some smaller findings:
- Always shown "NZ" as weather location (already mentioned before)
- I always can see the word "weather" in the right below frame. Maybe that should be there, I don't know
edit: Hm, I think I'm going wrong, it appears in Videoinfo when playing fullscreen (Video, TV) only.
- Info screen while playing Vid/DVD/TV in Fullscreen is working fine. The behaviour when leaving fullscreen is different according to the way you leave it. Pressing "STOP", MPTouch jumps to the Basic Home Screen. If leaving with the MCE Windows-Key (still playing) the plugin persists in Navigation (maybe small bug: sometimes without the detail window below).

Playing music --> automatic "now playing" window. Browsing through MP e.g. with remote--> automatic show navigation -> switch back to now playing after some seconds idle. Leaving Fullscreen --> show navigation. At the moment it's need to got the Touchscreen and preselect navigation while playing music. But that's only the perspective for me as a "mainly remote user". If using the touch function (works great as well!!!)more than the remote control it's not an important one.
So keep up the good work. Fantastic plugin!

Have updated to MP RC2 and newest version of this plugin. Seems to run very smooth and I have no crashes related to the plugin anymore. However the problem with the videoinfo screen persist. However it is not always a problem, as I write this it works like a charm, but when I turn on the htpc next time it might not work, and I cannot seem to find any pattern in when it works and when it does not (except that it works when my GF turns the htpc on and does not when I do... :-s )
