For the player i don't find any solution, but the MTV api it is in beta stage so hope, with time this will be solved

You're welcome, really great plugin and use it a lot - just loaded the new version and the skin file is still valid with the new version.

Latest SVN and still only text on 1 out of 4 buttons. Perhaps someone whos got this working could tell me what the buttons are supposed to read?

Is there any reason why you cant use the internal player, like with the YouTube plugin? (Haven't tried latest ver., but first version made MP unresponsive after a video playback)

maybe it could work again if you set up an external proxy of the usa ?
but should only work if mtv don`t trace back your ip completely

another solution might be "anchorfree-hotspot-shield". It creates a VPN-Connection to the anchorfree-server, which is situated in the USA. So you recieve a fake-US-IP ...
