Hi.
Try the dll attached to the linked tut... It's definitely shown as compatible and working in MP 1.4 Pre Release. No matter if you do an upgrade or a clean install... I'm using this version with "official" 1.4 Pre and a lot of internal test versions earlier than public 1.4 Pre and also newer versions including an 1.4 Final Test Version..., never got any issue with MultiShortCut.

that dll is definately different than the newest available 2.4
seems that the depency check dosent happen on this file
i will make sure to keep this for possible future use

Hi.
A little Update...
The most recent "official" MSC version 2.4 seems not to work with MP 1.4. But the Version attached to first post did work properly with 1.4 so this tut and the attached dll is usable for MP 1.3 and 1.4 (and maybe even 1.5, who knows? )

Hi I followed your setup.
Now I'm stuck in mp config.
When entering the exe file name. The program says exefile doesn't exist. What should I do now?

Hi.
You need to specify both, the path (directory) and the exe file including full path. Don't know why it is so, but we have to live with. Have a look at the MSC Config screenshot above...
