Music Gapless Playback (2 Viewers)

Hi,

I ran into a critical issue. I was just playing some music. And after approximately 1 hour the music stopped and MP ended up with a black screen. I could see in my iMon display that it just wanted to start playing the next song. It stopped at exactly 0 seconds. Only way to exit MP was by taskmanager.

I think the music stopped at around 08.17 hours. I can't test further at the moment, but maybe my logs can help. I saw some bass errors in the mediaportal log file.

Oh, i had the same issue on Monday. Then the music stopped at exactly the end of the song.

Until now I can't reproduce the issue on my test pc.

Maybe a plugin issue on my HTPC or my HTPC setup is somehow f#&*d up

I'm running a test now in debug mode (all 3rd party plugins disabled) to see if that works. I will leave my HTPC running all night to see if the problem occurs again.

The fix itself works perfectly. I only want to rule out any side effects of this fix. Will post tomorrow with new info.

From my side gapless playback is working fine.

Started my test yesterday, and this morning playback was already stopped and black screen. Imon display told me it stopped at exactly the end of the song (forgot to write the song down). Ran test with debug option 1.

Will do some more tests..

Running a new test now. I copied my MP music database from my test pc. Synced my music collection. Loaded the same playlist from my test pc on my HTPC. So it is a 1:1 copy on both ends.

I do this, because I couldn't reproduce the black screen issue and playback issue on my (clean) test pc. So let's see how this goes!
