Music Gapless Playback (3 Viewers)

I tested with foobar and I get surround sound. But every file I play makes foobar crash after 2 seconds.

So, if I get surround sound here, why not in mediaportal?[DOUBLEPOST=1381872193][/DOUBLEPOST]I also tried it with winamp and WASAPI. In here it works flawless. Mediaportal issue or settings issue in mediaportal?

It sounds real sweet, music coming from all channels! I'm gonna download some more :-P Let's hope I can get this working inside mediaportal.

If I set the wasapi settings to output to 2 speakers, the files play, but obviously in stereo mode. Any other setting gets me the issue. I really can't think of any other option to get this going. Unless mediaportal isn't capable of doing it.

I tested the files on my test pc. It only has 2 channels available, so it is not a reliable test. But when I set WASAPI mode to 5.1, it will play the files. So maybe I have to reinstall on my main HTPC.

In my search of making multichannel playback work, I´ve tried the following. I also have a realtek onboard sound. When I select this, the music will start playing. But I don´t have the realtek connected. So I can´t really test if the sound is ok.
When I use my AMD 6570 as a soundcard (which is normally my default soundcard), the music doesn´t play. I created logs (attached) and I found this in the mediaportal.log:

So what does this mean? Can someone help getting this to work?

THe same issue had Helios.
It is a problem with the buffer of your device.
Try setting it to 0 ms.

You probably will experience the hickups, but the device should select the buffer on it's own.

I did a real quick test this morning. Set the buffer to 0.10 (couldn't go any lower) and now it worked! It also worked with 0.26 seconds and not with 0.50 seconds. Strangely the last time I did that it didn't work. So in gonna test again this evening.

You only have this with Multi-Channel FLAC files. Right?
