    Do we have music genres
I would say no. A couple of pictures there.

But that's it. I'm not sure that these images are suitable for the design. A beautiful could not find.

    There are such:
    60s.png 70s.png 80s.png Acoustic.png Choral.png Classic.png Country.png Dance.png Disco.png DJ.png Drum & Bass.png Electronic.png Folk.png Hip Hop.png International.png Jazz.png Mambo.png Melodic.png Metal.png Rock.png Soundtracks.png Techno.png Classic.png Country.png Electronic.png Folk Music.png Hip Hop.png International.png Metal.png Rock.png

But they should lead to a common mind. I do not have time.

We need them as it is to organize, lead to a common mind and add the missing. And then can be included in the package.

Well, then make it like characters: .C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\Skin Fanart\Media\Logos\Genres\Music ;)
As it is your choice how you access them in your plugin, this seems logical

Just downloaded the new music genres - they look very good so far (y) (y) (y)
Now: where to copy them (e.g. new folder as I suggested in post above)?
We would need a new FH then
As we already have the music.genres properties, this should then work ;)

BTW: Just installed latest FanartHandler-4.0.2.239, and NONE of the studios/genres were installed although ticked in the installer

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ? Hi. I was probably being a bit fast and loose with my terminology. I meant "somewhere within the files that MP2 uses in its database". Anyway, I found a way to do this which was far from automated but relatively low effort. I found what looked like all the images (CD covers, DVD covers, backgrounds etc all lumped together in...
