[solved] Music playback hangs (3 Viewers)

I did get 0.2.8.5 and have tried with 1.24 and no problem with the install but no have no music playback, working on it.

hum, i not tested myself.
do you enabled Pureaudio in plugins ?

Yes when Pureaudio is enabled no music will play, still have navigation sounds but no music. When disabled all ok but I guess back to Bass.
Any suggestions welcome.

Still no go with the PureAudio plugin it is listed as an external player but how to select it other than "enable" in MP Config. It certainly turns off Bass Player, tried speakers, headphone and over HDMI fiddled with different settings but no change! No sure how to proceed, any chance someone else could confirm whether the plugin works or not with Win 10 and MP 1.24

I think it would be very good if this plugin can be fixed to have an alternative to Bass player which seems to have a number of issues at present.

To anyone else who encounters the issue that the MediaPortal playback hangs and the I've found the rout cause for the "[ERROR] - BASS: GCHandle of Musicstream not found in Dictionary" is logged:
On some of my files the Xing header was included in the audio frame count:

Most players like Windows Media Player can handle this issue but MediaPortal not.
With foobar2000 this issue can be fixed:
