Looking for a volunteer to create (code) a "Menu Generator" that includes sub menus, weather, rss and recently added items
I'm also trying to incorporate the VideoBackgroundAutoSwitcher plugin, but I can't find a link or a copy of it anywhere

The home screen is the one area of this skin I felt was lacking... I really like the menu structure and layouts, but the home screen needs some work.

I also don't think it looks very good right in the middle of the screen. For a horizontal menu, it should be lower on the screen. But, I think maybe a few other options for the home screen, like StreamedMP offers might be a good thing.

Another suggestion is perhaps add an overlay over the fanart. All of the menus have a less intense appearance to the fanart, and having it so vivid on the home screen makes it sort of distracting.

I think that example you have there is looking very nice. It would of course be awesome if something like the StreamedMP Basic Home editor could be adapted/made to work with this skin, as it has so many styles to choose from. But you're definitely on the right track with it.

HI PR ! first thank you for tacking over this great skin , and even biger thank's for mack it full HD ...

Love wher you tack the skin ....untile basic home ... , i mean ton't get me wrong the basic home screen you post look nice ,
but i think this skin need to get even better basic home .....(sorry just my opinion) ...it just o.k not wow ...

cant wait to use/test/mod this great looking skin ...

The basic home seems to be a bit of a dilema... Please feel free to post mockups or ideas for the home screen.
It seems to be the only part of the skin that everybody has a different opinion on
Personally, I just created something similar to the original release, but I'm definately open to suggestions

Well, I started to do some concepts for a skin a while back, but when I realized just what a huge effort a complete skin is, I just put my ideas on a backup drive and forgot about it. I have attached the idea I had here (it's basically a take on the AEON style Basic Home). My general idea for the WIP skin was using lots of transparent overlays on everything, something like what cul8er is doing right now with his Backdrop skin. Please ignore the font used, as I was trying to find one that was similar to Mustalayca but free for personal use. The latest revision I made was the file called "skin.jpg". It has an album thumb for the now playing, and a little bump in the middle for any sub-items. (I have the .psd file should you want to take a look, Psycho Reptile).

I very much like that focus frame around the edge.

Would be nice to incorporate weather in the top right corner where there is space, like in the 2nd photo.

hi Emph ! i like the idea of picture 4 (skin.jpg) just more transparent mach more .. and the center part lass round ... do to the skin
more squre style .... main font must be smaller size.. left side now playing ,right side recentlyaddedMovies ,tv.music...

what abut weather ....

@ PR can we try (a screenshot ) of yours , just trop down the menu , move now playing and new add abuve the menu , and mack the main menu
more transparent .... i think will look a o.k ...( now when i tack closer look..... )
