Guess i should have followed the changelog in more detail. I have just looked at the first post the whole time stating:

This release does not support the importing of DVDs

will make time to join you all in testing within the next few days...

Thanks for your work on this plugin! I have put some skin files up for Avalon (here) - they're not finished yet but that's mainly because the views other than "list" need to be finished + I might tweak a few font sizes.

I haven't "tested" the plugin as such but since skinning it I have noticed a few things which you are probably already aware of:

1. Mising fanart for artists which the old Music Videos plugin grabbed images for e.g. "a-ha"

2. On one install I got fanart for Adele but on another install I didn't (?)

If you have Avalon installed can you check the following?: The text above the album image should be centred but sometimes it "breaks out" of the X & Width settings - see pics below, 1st one is OK, 2nd one is wrong. Maybe I've made a mistake in skinning it?

What format are we talking here, actual DVD's or ripped into a ..\VIDEO_TS\* folder layout?

Current I am looking at just the ..\VIDEO_TS\* layout, though also does an actual DVD.

The import is manual, well if the file format is say X:\MusicDVD\Dido - Live at Brixton Academy\VIDEO_TS\<files>

it will work out the artist and title for you.

Getting track listings is more awkward as there is little out there that gives this info and Amazon removed the chapter listings.

The next issue is playing them, easy enough to play the whole thing but yet to find a way to just play a chapter and not sure that is even possible and throws out the playlist side....

So a few problems to get over yet

Thanks for doing these, I know of the the Fanart issues, currently looking at additional providers for these images.

I will look at your xmls I take it you are using align center, do you specifiy a width?

Most of my collection is currently in video_ts folders.
I do not mind so much that I have to manually enter the info myself the first time and manually add my fanart/artist pics. Most is Afrikaans thus I doubt that detailed info will be available on net.

My goal, definitely to create some sort of playlist where the tracks of different DVD's may be shuffled together automatically. So seems that is the part where you currently working.
A quick search revealed that my wishlist is pretty much the same as in 2009

Another minor issue which I'm sure you're aware of: From Artist View if I click on an Artist then play a track, then click the back button (to see the list of songs for that Artist again) there is no "....."at the top of the list of songs which is what I would normally click on if I wanted to go back up to the list of Artists (as I often do). If I click "back" from here it takes me back to the Home Menu that I came from (ie. Plugins Home) The only way to get back to the list of Artists is to bring the Hidden Menu up & select "Switch View -> Artists" - it's not ideal - what do you reckon?

Skin engine issue to ensure it centres remove the width line, this will then center ok but overspill both sides on long descriptions so lose one problem and gain another.

It seems the skin engine messes up the x calc if the text is longer that the width specified, leaving width out corrects this but is only useful if you have enough room to expand left and right.
