The Naruto one looks especially good. I might use it as default for the blue3 skins if you don't mind.

I think craige1 plans on adding all the hover images to the installer so you can choose the one you want (some time in the future)

Is there a way to change the displayed title of a series?

I have MyAnime2 set to display titles in English, and everything's fine so far, except for one thing: I have "Spice And Wolf" and "Ookami to Koushinryou II". Is it possible to edit the title, and/or to group them under one entry, so I have just "Spice and wolf" on the list and when I click it there's season 1 and season 2?

If you have them as two different groups, you can merge them from the context menu (F9) "Edit Group >>> Merge With Other Group"

Then you can edit both the group name and/or series name by selecting "Rename Manually >>>"

hit the info button while the series is selected then go to 6 edit group, then there are several renaming options from manual to 'rename from anidb data' which will iikely have the answer you want

option 4 is 'merge with other group' I haven't used it myself but it sounds like what your looking for.

Feature Suggestion

Hi Iwerndly,

Is it possible to establish configurable filter presets in the right side hidden menu in one of the future releases?
This would (at least for me) shorten up the selection of preferred filters (e.g. in my case "All", "2010", "2009") which are currently several layers away.


Also one other question:
I observe for quite some time that ratings for newer series are given between 0 and 1000 and not in figures between 0 to 10.
Is this a bug?

I gather you are doing the following now in the hidden menu
Display Options -> Switch View -> 2010

Are you suggesting to have something like the following in the hidden menu (like mp-tvseries)
Switch View -> 2010

For anyone having the same issue as Truri. Turn off the "Update AniDB Data on version change" under "Run Import Actions" in the "Advanced Options" tab on the config dialog. A fix will be out soonish.

* Fixed issue with My Anime trying to download full data on every anime in AniDB.net if option "Update AniDB info on version change" was turned on.
* Fixed issue with windows not opening if no anime was currently in the database.
* Fixed issue with new hasher and font code not being included in installer.

Is this still an issue with 2.4.0.11? I had read the change log to mean that the "Update AniDB Data on version change" could remain checked but now I have tons and tons of entries listed with zero files in them. I tried using the remove db entries for files that dont exist option, didn't seem to make a difference. I tried turning off the Update AniDB option and running an import, didn't seem to help either.

Am I going to need to start a new database? And, if so, is there an easy way to back up the current db and replace it with an empty one?

This is the first real issue I've had with My Anime since I started using it ~six months ago.
