do you guys have any plans to support the recently added "last 3 added" infoservices feature?

No we haven't. But I had a quick look at how it works, and doesn't seem like much work.
I have raised Issue #277 for this.

My personal preference would be even to have some fields even one level higher:

2010
2009
all
----------------
Display Options

Maybe having 3..4 fields which can be freely defined with submenu entries from the lower tiers as favorits.
This would create some flexibilities if soimebody would want here some other entries (eg. "Images"; AniDB Update or else)
I presume all Menu entries are Menu Parameters?

You make it sound pretty simple :)
Anything which appears as a button in the hidden menus, would be fairly simple to add to a favorites system.
However things like View selection, which are dynamically generated will be a bit harder.
I've raised Issue #278 to investigate this.

I think the new version of the plugin broke the non-farnart layout for the StreamedMP skin.

Please see the screenshot attached below. Note the text close to the middle of the screen, where the anime title and tags would normally be on the non-fanart layout. Also, some text overlap in the synopsis area.

Woops looks like I have messed up the non-fanart skin completely (been over-written so they are both the same)
For now, you would be better off installing the fanart version, while I restore the original

Thanks for the quick response! I really appreciate all your hard work on this plugin.

The same goes for all the other devs, as well.

Thx, most good ideas are quite simple :)

Btw. I still try to figure out what rules are applied in the calender options (e.g. selceting 2010):
    • seasons started in 2010 are shown
    • Some series which run up to 2010 or continuing are not shown (e.g. Naruto Shipuunden or Bleach)

Trying to estalish a new filter which shows series from 2009 and 2010 (i.e. selecting in the filters "Show" for 2009 and 2010 and do not touch the other years), generates a subset of both years with only a few entries. I didn't identified sofar a pattern which are shown and which not.

    For info:
I have grouped related series (e.g. all Naruto related series & movies are grouped in the Naruto group with the ADBID of "Naruto"). Duno if this may garble up the filters

    Cheers,

The calendar works with the first air date. So if you see an anime under march, that means the anime started in march. It does not deal with the total air time. Also, the calendar will only show anime that you already have and the anime that it finds out will be coming out in the near future(from the AniDB calendar). It does remember the anime it gets from the AniDB calendar. It wont show anime from before any updates. E.G. if you started using My Anime in april, then the only anime you will see on the calendar are anime you already have and anime that came out after april. Also if you dont use My Anime for a month, it will not have a chance to find out about that month and you will not see anime for that month, even if you start using My Anime afterwards.

With the view filters. They currently work on group level. If an anime in the group fits the filter, then that group is shown, including all the anime inside that group, even if those other anime dont fit the filter.

    Just to understand it right:
In case a series started in 2000 and is still ongoing, it will not be shown with filter for year 2010. - Except it is in a group with other series where at least one is started in 2010?

The calendar works with the first air date. The groups view filter works with the air time. E.G, an anime that went from 81 to 86 will show up if you choose 1985 (On a side note; oddly enough the actual years shown for choosing when setting up the filter don't take into account the air time, you could only choose 1985 if another show started in 85). The same happens with ongoing anime, if the show started in 2000 and it is still going, then the anime will show up if you select 2010.

To make sure that everything is working; I tested what I think you were trying to do. I have Shipuunden under the Naruto group, and then set a view filter which only shows 2009 and 2010. The Naruto group showed up.

    Mmh, strange.

As it is reproduceable that e.g. Naruto group is not shown I am currently out of ideas why.

I will try to make some tests.

    Thanks & Cheers,

The info screen shows 14.Feb 2007 until 3. Sep. 2010

The Naruto Group shows 2002-ongoing, as well as the Series Group for Shippuunden shows 2007-ongoing

    Cheers,

    Edit:
I attached 3 screenshots showing the info page; with 2010 used filter Naruto is not shown and last w/o filter the Naruto group display (if this may help)

    Iwerndly:
Also I discovered that the Anime Info page is garbeld by distorted Kanji, (Kanji is not used in my settings). Duno what happens here either. Further you may see how the rating is a mix of ratings between 0..10 and 000 to 1000 which I reported earlier.

I notice that the dates are not in English. There is no real multilingual support in My Anime atm. I wonder if it cant work out the dates because of the difference in language. Try looking at the other series that do get added by the filter and see if their dates are in english.

Also, wow, that text is really weird .
