My anime 3 is a mediaportal client for the Japanese media manager Leo has been working on. jmm has two part, the core and the clients. The core is a background service that handles your collection in a database. The clients are interfaces users use to manage and watch their collection. This has many benefits including being able to manage your collection from one computer withal normal program and being able to watch it through mediaportal on your htpc. The clients can be anything , from webui's to android clients, and everything inbetween. My anime 3 will be essentially my anime 2 as a client for jmm.

We will keep supporting my anime 2 atleast till jmm makes a release.

Those screenshots for MA3 look amazing

Pretty much perfect for what we need in an anime management tool. I look forward to it's release and hope it is in the near future xD

One question is there a way to manually enter the folder location for my Animes?
I am asking because i use a NAS for storing my Animes which does not show up in the Explorer Window which opens when i want to add folders to my anime.

Unfortunately i didn't found any field where i could put in the path to my folder manually like \\192.168.1.1\animes

Is there a way to add that manually?

"Near future" is relative :)
But should be this year at least, depending on how many features we try to cram in.

Ah yes this is an oversight it seems.
For now you can manually edit the MediaPortal.xml file if you want
If you are on Windows 7 you can find the file at
C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal

Take a back up and the find the following section in the XML file
<entry name="AniDB_Folders">
You can add your share there, separate with a semi-colon

What folder are you looking in?
The ProgramData folder is hidden by default.

Hi, i got a lil problem, i cant seem to enable my anime in the streamedMP default homescreen (the pretty one), also manually activating it doesnt seem possible since i can't seem to find the plugin in the menu settings of streamedMP, it seems to be a streamedMP problem since not many other plugins are available in the menu-config aswell (like radiotime). the fanart enabled installer of my anime works fine, my installation just isnt fanart orientated so i reinstalled it without the fanart-mod.

does somebody know what might be causing this slignt inconvenience?

I assume you are trying to use the BasicHome editor?

If so, once you are in the basicHome editor (BasicHome Design tab) you need to click the "Display XML Filenames" button.
Then select the "Anime2_Main.xml" file, and then do the rest as per usual.
