My Anime 2 (2 Viewers)

Quick question, likely an obvious question. I'm using the Monochrome skin...whereabouts did my handy little checkbox to mark my favorite series go? I used to use it to make it easy to browse quickly to my currently active series, rather than scroll through page after page to get to the one I was watching.

Keep up the great work lwerndly, My Anime Plugin has become the focal point of my HTPC.

Most of the options are now available via the context menu, which is probably F9 on your keyboard or the Info button on your remote.
Favourites are indicated by the Heart icon.
You can view just the favourites using the "Switch View" menu on the side.

Ah as always it was the simple answer that escaped me. I was looking for an "Add to favorites" after actually moving into the series (like the old style checkbox). Had I thought to check the info menu from the main listing it would of course have been obvious.

At any rate, thanks much. With 300 some odd series, using favorites helps keep track of shows I'm currently watching. Saves a lot of time scrolling!

I've set in the 'My Videos' section of mediaportal configuration to use an external player. I would like to know if My Anime 2 is capable to using an external player instead of the internal one.

The plugin uses the default MediaPortal video handler, so I assume all settings (including external players) should be working.
I haven't tried it though ... But the easiest way to know for sure is try it!

Wow ... just came back from holiday and immediately updated the plugin! Episode images, yeah! I have an issue with it though, it only shows the season 1 images and episode info. Take ikkitousen or rozen maid, they have three season each on thetvdb.com, but I only get the season 1 images/info even though they are mapped to the appropriate seasons.

Edit:

It doesn't seem to be with every serie. Most of them show only the info of the first season for all seasons though.
Don't know if it's relevant info, but working seasons are

Tsubassa Chronicle
Mobile Suit Gundam 00
Higurashi (partially, season 3 is the same as season 2?)

I don't get episode images for the first Ikkitousen...It's weird, it has to have something to do with TVDB and their thing with multi-sequel series.

Yup I see the bug, will fix it now.

It should show something.
NOTE - you will either need to do a "Run Import" or from the context menu select "Get Episode Info/Images"
If it is still not working, take a look at the TvDB ID assigned to the group/series in the Config screen and make sure it is correct.

Last week i found this plugin and it was great, since i'm a programmer i did some changes, i hope i can help you in this project in the future.

Main changes

* Added Indexes to the database for faster response time
* Change EvaluateVisibility (Favs) to handle Skin visibility.
* Remove some tearing and jump (Selected Episode) when populating episodes in the Facade.
* Added EpisodeCount to the list of Skin properties

I also changed StreamedMP Fanart to be more seamless looking with the other plugins, hope you enjoy it.

I can't Import my episodes

I don`t know what im doing wrong
I add thje folder where all my anime is, but i dont see it in file manager or nowhere else

I try with a specific folder that just contains 23 episodes, and nothing.

I dont know what im doing wrong, maybe is because all my anime is in mp4 and mkv.

I really dont know why my anime files doesnt add to the anime database.

Have you selected the "Run Import" menu item?
It is also available in the Utilities screen.

Amm I dont see de Run Import menu item,

Utilities screen :2?

I went to media portal config, plugins, anime, config.

But i just see in the utilities screen Drop folder and Root Destination Folder.

I dont see any Run import button .x.

What can be happening ?
