Oh, that's interesting. It could be that since it's just a Celeron D 2,66. What I thin I could do is configure the plugin to do less stuff when it runs an import. Especially one of the things I see it do each time where it queues nearly 150 things (sorry but I don't remember what that is).

That is probably the TvDB image searching.
In the latest release this should have improved significantly.
Previously it would scan every series in your collection to look for new images.
Now it will just ask TvDB what has changed since the last time you did an update, and only look for those series instead

That sounds very good.

I used the installer ... haven't tried bluewide, but since mediaportal crashes althogether I didn't think it was skin related.

Ok I'll bite the bullet and install the latest SVN to see if I can reproduce the problem.

Since no-one else is reporting the same issue I assume that is isolated (speak up if not).
I'll PM you with the results.

I had the same problem - crash after return from util and after watched episode, i.e. returning to "normal" view. I used the installer for the plugin and the skin StreamedMP with some old 1.1 svn release, not sure which.
It seems to have solved itself when i installed latest 1.1 svn build of mp (revision 24281) and switched to the skin Blue3wide Christmas add on. However, I did not test the StreamedMP skin after the svn-upgrade. I guess I could try again with the StreamedMP skin when I get some spare time to fool around with it (tight scedule before x-mas)...

    Last watched function

One small thing I have (at least in my installation) seen - when you start MP and have selected "Last Watched" as default you get an empty page (well - not empty but without content - only the varibales are visible) - you need to access the viewselect and reselect one time "Last Watched and than it's fine again.

Forgot to post that Raytestrak's problem was resolved.
He had two versions of MP on his machine, and the installer copied the skins to the wrong location.
Maybe you can check that your skins have been updated as well.

Tokyo Toshokan has been down for a couple of days (LINK).
They say they will be back after Christmas :(

We'll be adding a couple of other sources for the next release

What's the difference between"Hide" and "Ignore"? When I want to create my own view I want to use a flag or not - but what is happening when I ignore it?

    Best Regards

What's the difference between"Hide" and "Ignore"? When I want to create my own view I want to use a flag or not - but what is happening when I ignore it?

When you set an item to 'hide', all series having this property won't be shown, even if another of it's properties are set to 'show'. When an item is set to 'ignore', that specific property's status will be ignored (so it only depends on other properties if the series will be shown or not). If everything is 'ignored', everything will be shown.

    Example:
    Series A: completed, favorite
    Series B: completed, non-favorite
    Series C: not completed, favorite
    Series D: not completed, non-favorite

    - if a view has everything on 'ignored': everything will be shown
    - if a view has completed=show and everything else 'ignored': only A and B will be shown
    - if a view has completed=hide and everything else 'ignored': only C and D will be shown
    - if a view has favorite=show and everything else 'ignored': only A and C will be shown
    - if a view has favorite=hide and everything else 'ignored': only B and D will be shown
    - if a view has completed=show, favorite=show and everything else 'ignored': only A will be shown
    - if a view has completed=show, favorite=hide and everything else 'ignored': only B will be shown
    - if a view has completed=hide, favorite=show and everything else 'ignored': only C will be shown
    - if a view has completed=hide, favorite=hide and everything else 'ignored': only D will be shown

I have been thinking about a simpler but even powerful solution, but I couldn't find one. This was the only way to re-implement all existing views (although I forgot the 'Years' view ... that's for next version).
I did implement (partially) a view defined by a script, but I decided against it for now because that would be too complicated to modify.

Ahhh - yes :) - I see - so basically - "ignore" just means that for his item there is no value. Maby using an Asterix or minus or simply emty the field instead of writng "igore" makes it better to understand. I think the way with the two parameters are good - is it possible to have a field showing the number of results depending on the current selection? Just to see that - ups - I have used a wrong paramater cause ther a no results anymore ...? But anyway - cool that you can define your own view.

Ah - one more thing - when do you need to use "Save" when you exit the config (than there would be a pop-up greta asking if you want to save it) or when you leave MP?

    Merry Christmas!

I prefer Baka as you realy get only subs and all of them are english - the others are great too - but al these Raw's and non english translation makes it a little confusing.

Best Regards and - Merry Christmas!
