I can't see anything obvious in your logs. I am downloading ep 267 now, to see if I have any problems with it.
In the mean time can you check your version of MediaInfo.dll.
You may need to download a new version
MediaInfo - Download

I just downloaded the newest version (0.7.29.0) of mediainfo. I dropped it in "C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal" and "C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\Windows". It doesn't seem to have made a difference. I shouldn't have to register the dll, right?

No that is the right location.

Do the files even appear in your list of unrecognised files?

No. I don't ever see them going through the hasher queue either, even though other files I'm adding have been going through the queue and added just fine.

EDIT:
OK, I figured it out. I had the option to "Hide watched episodes" turned on, and the new episodes were being hidden because a few months ago, when I first set up the plugin, I had marked the entire series as watched and then marked only the episodes I hadn't seen as unwatched to save myself from marking 200+ episodes as watched individually. This obviously had the unexpected effect of marking future episodes as watched because other fansub groups had already done those episodes before Kaizoku did. In effect, this was user error. My apologies.

Ah yeah this was a bug that we fixed in the last release.

Now it only marks episodes as watched if they have already aired

thanks agen for this SICK plugin
BTW anyone know how to build a web cache server ?

Any reason you want to build a web cache server? :)

Basically all it does is cache some details that users get from AniDB. This allows us to bypass some of the restrictions of AniDB and speed up the import process. It also stores the associations between AniDB and TvDB.

Sorry for the late response, I got caught up with some stuff at work. Anyhow, I have downloaded the latest version (2.3.0.14) and run import a few times now. Again, the hasher is picking up stuff except for One Piece. See the logs attached.

One weird thing I noticed in the MyAnime2.log is that it's getting the media info for some really old episodes of One Piece that have been around forever (eps 4, 5, 26, 7, and 6), instead of the episodes that it should be getting (eps 264-266). I don't know if that has anything to do with the problem. Thanks for your help.

Is there a problem with the missing episode report? When I generate a missing epsisode report I now get a textfile with ALL my animes listed as missing episodes :D
They are available by the way, it's not a network error or something.

    Hi.
I'm new here, as you can see, so Hi guys!
    Don't wonder about my english.
    Well I have some problems.....

First, is there a way to completely delete all unrecognized files from the "unrecognized files" list, without clicking every single entry separately?
The thing is, that I have over 1500 unrecognized files, as I often deleted the second audiostream in DualAudio files or cutting out OP/ED. Back in the day, HDD space was not as cheap as it is today.
Now it's different and to workaround my problem I decided to redownload the series, delete my altered version from disk and replace it in the Plugin.

Problem is that after the deleting, the files are still in the "unrecognized files" list in the configuration tab, but not in MediaPortal itself. So I thought "OK, the hell with the config tab"..........well I was too fast.
If I delete the group in MediaPortal and "Run Import" to hash the new version and let MediaPortal create the group again, it still links the older version too (manually associated before from me), despite the fact that it doesn't exist anymore. On top of that, I can't remove the older, already deleted version from the Episode Entry. Even if I click "Remove associated files" and choose the old one, it remains there.

So there are like two lists of unrecognized files. One within MediaPortal and one in the configuration tab.

So the bug seems to be this:
Delete a file that is unrecognized from your disk and start MediaPortal. Here the file vanashed from the list automatically.
Start the config tab and the file is still there.

And it really sucks, that every time I "Run Import", it scans all unrecognized files for AniDB info again and with 1500 files.........

So I need either a way to reset the unrecognized files list or exclude them in future "Run Imports".

But I have to say, this plugin is exactly what I was searching for over 5 years. Back then, I had six or seven 200GB HDD's and soon I lost track of which series is on which disk. So I looked for an explorer-like program that combines the seven disks together. No luck with that.....
But even if I had found one, without info or pictures from what lies behind the name of a series, I simply forget about it. It's really, really great.

    EDIT:
OK, to answer myself. I found the option in MediaPortal->My Anime->Utilities->More Options and remove entry without physical file......
So there are things you can do only in MediaPortal itself and other things you can only do in the config tab.

Hello everyone, I am running into a problem, I am randomly getting files that show up as unrecognized, i verify the ed2k hashes and they match what is on the anidb, but the files once showing up in unrecognized rarely leave this list, and when I tell the plugin to rehash unrecognized files, its like it just skips over them anyways and does not rehash? What am I doing wrong here?

Yeah I haven't really tested this for a long time, so it's probably been broken.
I'll take a look at it for the next release. Issue tracked here
Issue 216 - animeplugin2 - Missing episodes report in config no longer working - Project Hosting on Google Code

The Run Import will only scan unrecognized for the first 10 days after they were initially added.
    After that they are ignored.

    Your other issues are resolved?

Can you give me an example hash which is on AniDB but it is not picked up by the plugin.
With a link to the file on AniDB please.

Thanks for the response, I figured out that if I turned off the web cache temporarily, then a lot of the episodes that weren't getting picked up would finally be recognized after I forced it to do a full hash.
some examples of files that did this: (Bamboo Blade ep 10, 23, 24)http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=ep&eid=85401

Hope that helps, seems like maybe some people are uploading incorrect hashes for certain files?
