Same here - after clean reinstal. StreamdMP and MP RC2 both in the last version. They have chjeged something in the skinn I beleive ...

I'm currently running 2.0.14 release and StreamedMP 0.9.601 which worked fine under RC1 but last night I tried re-installing the RC2 version and like many others have had the same problems of freezing and being unable to return to the main menu.

I've gone into the plugin's config page and can see all my shows listed but there's nothing diplayed on the screen

Unfortunately I've just borked my HTPC with the ATI 10.4 preview driver (trying to DXVA working with Radeon HD5450) so I'm going to roll back and try again.

That is the error I get after I upgraded to RC2

Ok, here is a quick fix for those who have upgraded to RC2 (or equivalent).
The search functionality has been removed to make this work until I find a permanent solution.

(The issue is to do with a method being removed from KeyBoardHook)

NOTE - I haven't done much testing on it yet, but it couldn't make things any worse.

thanks for the update I've just tried it on my RC2 install and I can access the files ok without the previous problems occurring. So far so good!

Loving the anime plugin lwerndly, has completed media portal for me

Was hard to find the up to date version though as the google codes page isn't up to date

Also what is in store for future releases? Any sneak peaks?

Personally I would love to see:

• Improved filename recognition (Some shows with complex names are easily understood while some shows with simple names are unrecognized. For example "Cowboy Bebop - 01 - Asteroid Blues.avi" is not recognized while a show with a complex name and tags etc will be.)
• Ability to allow a series to have all information imported from the tvdb for shows not present in anidb (For example, avatar: the last airbender.) Although this could be debatable as shows not an anidb aren't technically anime (On the fence with avatar I feel)
• It would be awesome to see MPEI usage.
• When a series is unable to automatically pull artwork and banners from the tvdb, I can't seem to find an easy way to re-add it to the list of unsorted series in utilities to manually find and download artwork
• Possible panel/config redesign? (Have made some concepts out of boredom lol)

Will post more when I think of it.

Is there a way to submit unrecognized file lists to you so you can work out how to improve the filename recognition?

Is the latest release (MyAnime2_v2.3.0.13) stable?

I used the 'Anime2_DLL_2.3.0.15.zip (785.2 KB, 29 views)'- fix to get it to work properly, but very few of my animes get recognized. For examle it won't recognize Bleach straight from DB so the hashes should be correct. In it's current form My Anime is useless to me as I'm having major problems getting files recogized.

And its there supposed to be no feedback when you start an import? It's difficult to know if something is actually happening.

I think there is an issue with the internetconnection for looking up the anidb database ... I have seen this starting 2.3.0.14 where suddenly files are not recognised plus the anidbque starts filling up - but after a complete reboot it normally workes again.

Also still the option "Community says" is empty. But this is maybe related?
