Is this still a thing? I have tried a few skins and so far they've prompted me with a password right away, which seems to be the login of the first account created. Is there a specific one that allows user switching?

I don't have the ability to test it in MA3 but it does work in Desktop, have you tried logging in using the 2nd user account?

Yes I can login to all the accounts created in Shoko Desktop.

I'm interested in running a HTPC and I'm looking at the different integration options Shoko has with HTPC software, since Shoko Desktop is not HTPC friendly in itself. So you can understand why running Shoko Desktop isn't an option.

One of the features that interests me is user accounts, so it doesn't interfere with my watched states and (if possible) uses the built in Shoko account "Hide Tags" to restrict content to make it more family friendly. The tag system works, and if i uncheck the AniDB User (or any of the User checkboxes) it only updates my watched states locally for that account.

The problem is, I can only login with the first account created, which is not what MyAnime3 advertises on the first page. I'm hoping I am overlooking something obvious or I'm using an unsupported skin. I've tried the ones listed on the first page that are still available (Avalon, Mustayaluca, Streamedmp, Titan, DefaultWide). To elaborate a bit more, either these skins no longer support MyAnime3 and do not work (or they didn't for me at least) or they would immediately prompt for a password without letting me specify a user. The user selected was always the first one created in Shoko.

MA3 will always use the last user used, in the right side menu from StreamedMP for instance you can select log off and afterwards a user selection list will be shown.
Tested this a while back after skin changes and it should still work as advertised, if not please attach Mediaportal logs and will take a look

We could always show a user dialog on first startup as well but as an optional setting though.
MA3 will support all the skins included in its installer however StreamedMP and Titan are preferred as we test those ourselves a bit more.

A dialog box would probably be best just for the ease of use.

@Rick164, Max is supposed to start the refactor for MA3 so it will work with 3.7.5.0, I don't know his progress but giving you the heads up just in case you make any changes around the same time.

We'd like to but there's no working on it nor is it on our priority list at the moment.If there's a dev willing to start work on a MP2 version then we can provide assistance but we've currently got our plate full at the moment.
