My Dreambox Plugin (1 Viewer)

ok i tried to set it up.

i copied all the dll files to the specific plugins directory windows and external players i also copied the xml files to the skin directory.

now when i open the MP Setup i go enable the videolan plugin and then try to configure the dreambox plugin settings and even if i type in the correct information or let it empty when i press the close button i get the following screen with a quit button on the MP setup.

Yes I know this, just enter the infoand click close, do not retrive the info back and then close because then empty data is saved. I have problems retrieving data in that form. Otherwise add the data manually to the config file. sorry about that, I'' change it next week.

you have to have the latest version of MediaPortal!

I was wondering, which version of Mediaportal is this tested on?
Latest stable or do we need the svn version?
Could this be the cause for these problems?

sorry i will not be able to test the plugin as i am not willing just yet to install MP version 0.2.1

to many bugs for me. i cant even playback HD source files bigger than 720p and mp crashes. many gui problems as well. i will wait for a more stable realease to test it.

Hi there
I upgraded to 0.2.1 and installed the plugin
I entered the ip properly, and it shows on my menu. However when i click on "My Dreambox" nothing happens...

Where should i be viewing the stream? Under TV or there, and something is going wrong?

After some hours of step by step guidance from Gary the plugin works like a charm.
basic operation is very good and its pretty much stable... channel change is recordings operation is quite fast (faster than expected). Very Very good work.

Last night I have spend some hours with Consyand found some small bugs :sorry: . They're gone now and I have uploaded an update, so....download it and install it.
Or....if you installedit, just overwrite the DreamboxPlugin.dll. That's all
