I've used the IMDB.de-OFDB.de Scraper and i'm missing the covers for nearly 60% of my movies

iirc, IMDB-OFDB get's cover from IMDB.de - might be worth to add a fallback to ofdb cover (usually crap anyway) or IMDB.com. Can you check, if the missing covers are indeed missing on IMDB.de (otherwise it might be an issue with the grabber script).

And another error:

What's the original full media name?
Seems, it needs some string replacement to avoid invalid characters...

original filename is already in the log: "importing Beavis and Butt-Head - tt0105950.mkv" The file name ist just "Beavis and Butt-Head - tt0105950.mkv".

Just checked, and yes, they're there.
To get it narrowed: I found, that for those titles, there is no original title present - can you verify, if that is causing you the missing covers? (I could imagine, that is the root cause causing problems in AMCupdater).
I can debug that when I am at home...

originaltitle missing - and there is no backdrop for "28 Tage später".
So from where can we get the original title for the IMDB.de scraper?

Hi,
I usually just open the grabber interface and search movie there, then load details and do a preview - this gives all infos grabber is retrieving.
I checked it already and can confirm, the IMDB-OFDB script has often problems getting otitles - due to problems with IMDB mobile page (that was used for that) - will change that to akas page, that should solve that problem.
I assume, this will also solve cover problems - but haven't checked yet...

updated to latest SVN. Import of Beavis and Butt-Head worked fine. I then also tried Global Update of missing covers. But it seems that this option does just nothing... how to get now the missing covers?

1.) i tried with a complete new import with only 5 movies. Now the covers are found correctly. How do i get them in my "old" / other import?
2.) 2 fast 2 furious is now named IMDb - 2 fast 2 furios ?!
3.) an import of about 800 movies tooked me 14 hours. Anything i can speed up?

i pressed the x at the log window of the AMC updater. How to get it back? Even pressing show / hide log doesn't bring it back ;-(
