Were there any skin-specific changes between 5.1 and 5.2?

I'm happy to run 6.0 on my system but I'm building an HTPC for my brother using the PureVisionHDBlue skin and want to make sure the version of MyFilms installed is compatible with that skin. If I'm not mistaken, 5.1 was the last stable release and 5.2 is a beta, so I'm not sure that the skin would have been updated (if that's necessary) to accomodate any changes in 5.2.

    Hi doveman,
correct, 5.1 is last stable version - and the version, that is supported by current official skins.
And yes, 5.2/6.0 does have skin changes and thus require skin updates - if you want to keep it simple, you should stay with 5.1.
I am not aware of wip files for purevision skins for V6.0.

i am wondering where do i put my own boxset cover for those boxset?

Please read the Wiki - and we're thankful for any feedback, if there is something missing in the Wiki or not clear - but believe me, it is a lot of work creating all that documentation for the community - I highly recommend to use it - it is worth it !

    Wiki -> Box Sets !
    Group Covers

By Default, My Films will display a random cover image from the group as the group cover. As of v 6.0.0 ou can create custom cover images for your Group Hierarchies. Just name the image the same as the Group Hierarchy name, and save it in the same location as your catalog pictures/covers. As in the above example, save an image as Harry Potter.jpg and store it in your AMC database folder (or pictures sub folder if you use one).

what is the max resolution jpg i can put on myfilms?
There is no limitation with MyFilms - but I noticed, that very huge covers (size several megabytes) can result in a black display - this is however a Mediaportal limitation and I am not aware that it is specified somewhere.
We could implement a caching for groupcovers too, that would workaround this - but introducing other issues. So unless there is only few single covers affected, I would vote to leave it as is...

    here is my zip files:
    Referring what issue?
Please always add description of what was done and what is the problem.
Further, please enable Debug mode in Mediapotal (so log files get more detailed).
Regardless from that I looked into your files:
It seems, the movie DB got corrupt by whatever happened - thus no more import is possible.
It might be related to what TLD posted - so if it is the same, I am already working on it.
To recover from your issue, copy a backup DB to your DB file (AMCupdater always saves them with date-time) and it should work again.
