That Trakt Categories will be accessible in the "Category Trakt" View:

You will see:
- Watchlist (1)
- User lists (those, you defined on Trakt (2)
- Reconnendations
- Popular (3) (will remove those, as they change too fast and not really of interest)
Of course you will only see those movies, that you have in your local catalog.

The content updates with each sync that happens with Trakt website.
You can add movies to your wastchlist or user lists on the Trakt site - or in MyFilms GUI (or other movie plugin).

Guzzi i think i figured out the problem i'm having.
Tratk is trying to update my watched movies and writing to the Db while i'm in MF. After downloading the new MF version and Tratk DLL i tried again to turn on MF in tratk in the plugin area of MP then started MP and entered MF i could see a little spinning circle in the center of the screen after a couple minutes then a few minutes later i got the popup that MP must close,
So i closed MP and tried again and the Db was corrupted as it wouldn't open in MF or with AMC, so i turned off MF in tratk in MP configuration and used the backup Db to get that fixed.
I started MP again and went in to MF and the backup worked so i went back to tratk inside MP and turned on MF and got a popup asking if i wanted to synchronize the library so i clicked yes and went in to MF and the little circle was spinning showing there was an up date going on but no movies were showing in MF as tratk was updating the watched movies. then i exited MF and later tried to go back in and couldn't see and movies, i exited MP and tried to open the Db with AMC and it was corrupted again.
I used the back up Db and replaced the corrupted one and started MP again and went in to MF and the backup Db was working so i went to the tratk and turned on MF again and got the popup asking if i wanted to synchronize the library so i clicked yes. and didn't go in to MF i watched some tv for a few hours and then i went back in to MF and all the watched movies from before i made the new Db were showing watched again. and everything was working fine, i watched a movie and went to bed.


This morning i was watching a movie with MF and on another computer with a different user and tratk account i started setting the tratk up. i went to the tratk plugin in while MP was running and turned on MF and got the popup to synchronize the library and clicked yes and bang corrupted Db again.


I think when tratk was writing to the central Db while the Db was being used by the other computer it caused the Db to become corrupted.
Perhaps when tratk is writing to the Db other users need to be locked out or tratk should not be allowed to write to write to the Db while it is in use.

Ok after a crash or 3 today i got 1 computer ( the Media Center) set up and all the movies are marked watched correctly by Tratk. and i saved the Db this time so if one of the other computers causes a corrupt Db i can start form here this time. I'm going to set up another computer with Tratk now and let it run all night without entering MF on any computers and see if that will work.

EDIT: I dont know if you noticed in the xml but i also have "scan for media on start" turned on also.

Ok i turned on MF in Tratk on computer 2 and while synchronizing the library with Tratk, MP crashed and corrupted the Db, no computers were in MF during this time. Computer 2 has a different Tratk user name then computer 1 and its the same as the "active user profile name" in MF.

Attached are the Logs and xmls including the Db from computer 1 which had synchronize the library with Tratk and was working.
Also Attached are the Logs and xmls including the Db from computer 2 which was synchronizing the library with Tratk when MP crashed.

Perhaps when tratk is writing to the Db other users need to be locked out or tratk should not be allowed to write to write to the Db while it is in use.

Right, and that should happen - there is a mechanism that should limit write access on the central DB to one at a time...

EDIT: I dont know if you noticed in the xml but i also have "scan for media on start" turned on also.

I noticed that - that can cause additional updates to the DB (and possibly race conditions), but the root problem is probably the same...
I will check your logs, those should tell me what's happened .... and I probably need a way to replicate that problem here ...

Unfortunately, computer2 didn't have debug logging active, so info from logs is very limited - but it seems, the problem was there on first try to open DB already - so not sure, from where it actually was caused...

Ok debug is turned on and i'll go through the same routine as last time and post logs and xmls again.
