I have a problem: when i use the search function several times, mylaunch then MP freeze

Are you notice that?

I haven't noticed any MP freeze when doing a search. Which version of MP are you using? Is it random?

I have not seen many feedback on my plugin. I tought it would have gotten much more interest from MP users.

It could be it is getting lost in the crowd? Ask others about the name change. The interface is little plain but I'm not sure what else you could provide.

I'm up for renaming it to "My Music Videos".

I was just thinking that this plugin could be good in a party setting. In a party environment maybe need to allow users to vote on the Music Video's? Maybe have genre' to only play certain types of musicvideos. But I'm just thinking out loud.

Adding "genre" is already partially coded. I stopped working on it because I didn't think it I would use it. If people want it, I can certainly finish it.

Question: How do you set your favorites? I clicked on that button but nothing happened.

To add favorites, highlight the song in the list and press menu on your remote to show the context menu. If you don't use a remote, press F9 to show the context menu.

I suppose, the problem appear when there are a lot of results. (for exemple when i type "stones").
is there a way to stop the search?

It just seems that this plugin would be great in a party environment and any features that would help the enjoyability factor the better. But again that is just my thought unless other people would agree.

Not to pick on you, because this problem exists for most all plugins and this is a fine plugin. But if a user manual (or some other method, I prefer info to be onscreen, but then we have other problems like small screen size, font readability, etc. - all usability factors) isn't available then - a user may just decide it isn't worth the time to try and figure it out. Please don't think I am picking on you - I am not!

I think once more people realize what this plugin is capable of providing in the right environment. Even in a family environment - maybe favorites for different people in the family - each person seems to have thier own preference.

i just tried this plugin with RC3 and i must admit i like it (change the name ASAP )

but, i noticed when you select lower bitrate, bitrate settings doesn't get remembered and searching doeasn't find anything (progress bar is always at the beginning)...

ok, i edited manually settings file and i can watch 300bps videos with my 512MB adsl connection (768bps was too much)

You have found the first bug in the plugin. I'll get it fixed ASAP.

The update includes
- renaming the Plugin to MyMusicVideos.
- (Fixed)Infinite loop when search result is greater than 50.

If you have used the favorites feature, please rename the file in plugins/windows from LaunchBrowserFavorites.xml to MyMusicVideoFavorites.xml.

As ZipperZip suggested in this post, place your plugin in the download section. It should get more traffic and more users. I might also suggest to start a new thread with the new name in the plugin section. The starting post by you can link to eth download section and maybe a scrrenshot and info about the plugin in addition to a link to this thread (I would also place as a "final" post in this thread a link to the new thread. Just to cover all your bases.

All of this to get more exposure and more suggestions to a good plugin. I'm expecting more people to try-it-out and ask for more features!
