juvinious has told me that he doesn't have XP installed on any of his computers - but if there is anything that a developer needs from him - "...he can probably help out."

So if ther are any developers that want to take a plugin developed by juvinoius - well, he says basically wants someone to take them and make them better.

But did you know there is a plugin called my Trailers - have you looked into it?

mzemina, yes i look it. but mytrailers don't play yahoo musicvideos
or i can't find a searchoption for that, like mylaunch.

I downloaded the last version of this and re-compiled it user c# 2005 express edition. It had some errors, but I can search on the US site and it will display the correct video names.
Unfortunately the video's wont play, looking in mediaportal log it shows an address for a video as:

http://today.launch.yahoo.com/playe...2EDC66&sk=7d0hi5106m427406c7c34&fcv=&z=ms.asx media:Video

Now when I try to enter a variation of this into IE, firefox, vlc etc I get a page can't be found error.
I found a program called Lyfox which gets the URL for the video's, the same video as above returns the link as:

mms://a2swmod063.bcst.a2s.yahoo.com/re2pub07root6/re2pub07share21/__S__/LAUvswm9/4/5371615.wmv?StreamID=5371615&pl_auth=eec2abc21ed89d777acc6a8850771a8d&ht=3630&xdata=Eyn8J0.fyfuV36ip45Kw3A-16989297-1453478966&b=9e0q77l1c33ef&s=396500550

As you can see they are completely different, it would seem yahoo have changed the whole system for getting video's around.
This is all a bit above me, but I will keep digging around.

Hi all,

Sorry I haven't been around, but as mzemina has said, I no longer have XP on my machines.... So I really have no incentive to work on these plugins.
But seeing as people still look into this and forward to seeing some progress, I'll check to see if MyTrailers is not capable of this. I was quite sure that you were able to provide search parameters within an XML file and it'll get you what you need, like my launch vids.
I've been in contact with mzemina and told him this, if this isn't possible I'll work on the plugin and make it extensible in the way I described above utilizing xml. That way if the site or video paramaters happen to change, all you would have to do is amend the xml to point the plugin to the right location.
It might take me some time, but I'll keep you posted here.
I'll stick around on efnet in #MediaPortal if anything or if you have any questions for me.

Depending where you live - I would recommend using the key words "free file hosting" in google.
