How do I use MPEI to install this plugin? A "howto" in your first post would be great

It is no different to install MyLyrics as any other MPEI release. Here is the entry in the MP manual: MPEI - MediaPortal Manual Documentation.

Version 1.4.2.2 is now accessable through the Mediaportal Extension Installer. Due to some problems with the Mpei maker tool, there is two visible beta instances of MyLyrics. If you are running the version that cannot be upgraded to version 1.4.2.2, please uninstall your current version and install the other.

Lyrics Plugin

Would be so nice if there is a plugin for this.. Now the lyrics have to be saved on the harddisk first, isn't it?

Yes i know it. Lyrics Plugin is to Winamp, Mediaplayer, etc. what MyLyrics is to MP. I cannot see how and why you want to make a plugin for a plugin.. or make support for a plugin within a plugin with basically the same features. I am kind of confused here

Okey, sorry, I was the one who was confused.. I actually didn't try this plugin (MyLyrics).. Lets do that first Sorry

Wow, Nice. What I thought, is that I had to fill the database first with all the lyrics.. But that isn't the matter
It's also really nice to see the what sentence is 'active'

One problem:
When the next song plays, the text is not updated, so he shows the text of the past song..

First thanks for a great plugin, Just installed Mp1.1RC1 and when going to MyLyrics Mp crashes, logs attached

EDIT: Never mind.... beta v1.4.2.2 of My Lyrics fixed it

Hey just wondering, is functionality for CD's to have lyrics displayed in the pipeline, or is this a MP1 message limitation. Thanks
