My MPlayer (2 Viewers)

The seeking problem is relative simple. The problem is that MP always performs absolute seeks and this doesn't work very well in MPlayer. If you perform relative seeks it should work better. The problem is that the plugin doesn't know the exact duration while playing a file. This make a transformation of an absolute seek into a relative seek very complicated. I'm still searching for a good solution. Also I'm currently working on a nice new feature, but there are also a lot of problems that have to be fixed too.

You could also specify the demuxer option for a specific extension. The plugin will then use this option only for the given extension.

The last test version which I have posted here, should determine the screen automatically and uses the adapter version. If it doesn't work, please post a log so that I can fix it.

Since the video is embedded in MP and MPlayer doesn't really know the correct size of the window, I think that the problem of the picture quality couldn't be fixed.

I can't get the resize feature to work, i'm using "-subfont-text-scale 4" in Optional arguments field into the MPlayer configuration window, but the OSD messages are still big... how can i fix it?

I had problems with with subtitle files also, but after installing "Mplayer for windows" everything works like a charm.

I would like to play every movie without black borders, i've ransacked the Mplayer helpfiles for few nights, but maybe I'm to stupid for this, you as an proffesionel, would you please looking if it is possible to do this with Mplayer, and maybe add an Option to your plugin, to Enhance the possibilitis.

Could you please provide a log? I will than look at it. I can give you a than better answer what there is happening or going wrong.
Which version of the plugin are you using?

What about switching the zoom mode to "Zoom" or "Stretch"? The plugin has the same zoom modes like the internal player and also uses the same methods for calculating the video size and position.

I,ve just tried the possible zoom modes, at some of my movies for example DVD's, the biggest picture i can get is 60% of the possible picture.

With internals player of Mediaportal i've always used the internal cropping plugin.With this plugin i was always wathing 100% of the possible TV picture, i thing it is a matter of taste, but i pay'd for the completely picture of my TV, why should i watch just 60%.

Aber wenn es nicht geht, kein Problem, man kann nun mal nicht alles haben, im allgemeinen bin ich mit deinem plugin sehr zufrieden.

The internal cropping plugin is not used in my plugin. Since I don't use it, I haven't focused on an integration. If you provide me detailed informations, I will look if I can do anything for you. Therfore I need a log (Level mode=DEBUG !!!) from you, where you have played the same DVD or movie with the internal player and the plugin. I also need your screen resolution and connection mode. I have to understand what there is happening, before I can add support for it.

Does the video you're trying to play contains the black borders itself? If this true, everything becomes more complicated.

I've noticed that your plugin got some incredibable features, the most amazing part for me is the abiltiy to play directly iso images, i got many DVD's as iso images on my hard disk, so it is very simple to play them without third party tools like deamon tools.

I would say if here is just me interested on this cropping feature, than this would be to much work for you.
Let's wait, if here are more users interested on this feature and thank you for offering your support.

Ok. Than I will wait for more user interest for the cropping feature. But I still don't know if it's even possible, since the internal cropping plugin can't be used and I have to implement my own cropping handling.
