    Synopsis::

    Thumbnails are not created correctly for folders in MyPictures. The thumbnail that is created only contains the light blue background, no actual thumbnail. Error log shows errors claiming files are corrupt, but all other jpg viewers are able to display the files (including mp when files are displayed as a slide show or individually). To reproduce:
    1. Select a directory this is part of your MyPictures tree that has jpg files in it.
    2. Delete any existing folder.jpg file in this dir.
    3. Ensure that the jpgs in this directory are correctly orientated (i.e. that no rotation is specified in the exif data). So that mp will not rotate the image when creating the thumbnail.
    4. Start mp and go to MyPictures, ensure that list view is selected.
    5. navigate to the directory that is the parent of the dir selected above.
    6. Click on create thumbnails.
    7. Navigate up a level and then back down to refresh the file display. You should see a "blank" thumbnail for the selected directory (background only).

    If you check your log file you should see errors being reported for up o 4 files in the selected directory. See attached log for the errors I get.

    [Oh and I should have included in the report that with earlier SVN builds (and 0.2) then the *same* set of jpg files had thumbnails generated for them with no errors....

    If you need any more info (sample images) or logs let me know.

    Confirmed on both local and network shares. Actual images load fine and folder.jpg used to be created fine in previous Versions.

    SVN from 13.11.

    Solution not tried.

    chenks, if you can't get it to work, attach your MP logs to your post.
