Thanks for the reply Edalex, I have copied the files but sadly cannot see any text due to the background being black, and I guess the text is black too. The layout looks much better than before though and from the position of 'xvid' and 'hd' icons they don't appear to overlap now.

Anyway I have now installed the StreamedMP skin so I can use it, I must say I'm very impressed with it, I think I'll stay with it. Problem solved for me then

Hi Edalex and all others,

I want to report that I'm bussy with some re-skinning work for StreamedMP..

I don't make huge difference, but some small things.. I think I will upload all files here this week in English and Dutch (hardcoded) It's a bit new for me, so don't expect to much..

Actually, we need skins other than StreamedMP
Anyway, you can try Skin Designer tool for making skins from this forum.
If you don't have working build I can give it to you.

Yes I know, but the problem is; I'm not a skinner (yet) and I'm only using StreamedMP, so I only know how that skin looks and have to look like.. I think that other people who are using other skins have to costomize the skin itself.. Maybe you can sent a message to other skin developers and ask them if they are interested..

I only want to say to you that you don't have to work on the StreamedMP files anymore, because I will do that, so you can putt all you time and energy into the plugin itself..

here are the new StreamedMP files.. I made them fast.. There are some things that can be faster (like working with more import strings) but it's working fine so..

See the screenshots bellow to see what's changed.. (actually, It's only the added hovers, different fonts and I changed the color and size of the fonts.. I changed also the positions of some things.

-All .xml files are going to: C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\StreamedMP
-The hover image has to go to: C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\StreamedMP\Media

A Dutch translation will follow soon..

Please test them and report any bug here..

I think you need another hover for it (without TV) so we can see list of items in center
or push it to background.
If you're interested I can tell about my changes to skin files (which I reverted after some problems):
1) don't know why but hover appeared after moving all MP-MyTorrents.common.overlay.xml content to individual skin files
2) also i tried to add hidden menus to all screens with no luck
After that i began to play with screen ids and broke all plugin.
So you can try to peproduce my steps (without crashes). Anyway we should see hidden menu not only in the main window.
P.s. You can try SkinDesigner from attach. But don't forget to change screen resolution in properties. I think it 's a bug there.

I know the skinfiles are not perfect yet, but I think they are looking a bit better than before.. It's a bit nicer to see the hovers show up now in every menu..

For me the background image is just fine.. If you have problem with it you can choose another one for yourself.. I'm using the 3D backgroun images everywhere, so for me this is just nice..

I don't know what to do with the skin editor you attached.. I can't open it.. (even not after change the resolution in the prefferences file)

I also want to report another problem.. I have 3 pc's in my network.. the system I boot as first is getting IP: 192.168.1.101, the second one 192.168.1.102, etc.. I have to change it everytime in the plugin because I can only set 1 IP-address.. It's set now to ending on .101. But when I turn on my HTPC as second the IP adress is ending on .102.. Do you know a solution for this??

Powermarcel10, you need to set a static IP address in Windows (this is the easiest option) or on your router settings. See here for a quick how-to on windows xp, let me know if you need help with Vista/7 hotComm FAQ: Assign Static IP Address (Windows XP)

Or you can't understand how it works?

No I can't open it!

EDIT: It's showup into taskmanager proceses, but can't use it..
